    Alright. Thanks.

So basically, you can aim directly at a guy's head, and there is only a chance it will hit?

Point blank or far away, in the head or in the knee... in Morrowind it doesn't make a difference.

heh heh. Ok. Umm, are there chances with bow hits? I hope not, I am an archer-esque character and that would be stupid.

    Thanks.

That does not sound too bad, I still just cannot decide to buy it or not.

I'm afraid so. Still... so long as your is your archery skill is above 30, you should be fine. Just bring plenty of arrows.

You may want to try watching some LP's and/or guide videos for the game. They're a great way for getting a feel for the game without actually having to purchase it.

How bad is the combat? Is it ALL chance? Or is there any skill involved from the player? Whats the point of leveling then?

    Thanks to you and Nerfd!

There's definitely some skill involved... the combat still requires you to duck, dodge, flee, manveuver, and attack in real time. And spells (magic is much more powerful in this game, maybe even a little OP...) are guaranteed to hit. It's just the weapon combat where the chance can really be aggravating. So long as you specifically pick out your starting bonuses so that your weapon skill is over 30, you'll be able to land enough hits to sufficiently kill enemies and level your weapon skill to the point where you can hit enemies almost every time. Otherwise... you'll be swinging at cliffracers all day and never land a single hit. At that point, it's time to visit some trainers.

WOW, this gave me goose bumps! :

Much as I enjoyed Skyrim, I think Morrowind still remains my favorite game to date, mainly because its gameplay is more similar to that old-game style of minimal hand-holding and tutorials, and instead more focus on player intuition and perceptiveness. If you do decide to play Morrowind though, be warned: Morrowind's combat system is much worse then any of its predecessors', as it relies on dice rolls to determine whether you hit something or not. (Curse yooou dextrous mudcrab! Why U keep dodging my great big sword??)

As a side note, Oblivion had its share of fun moments too... Oh, how I miss punching some random Imperial Soldier in the face, Mario-jumping to some nearby cave with my Boots of Springhill Jack, yielding to him, then letting him take out all the monsters for me while I sit back and relax in the shadows. He'd even happily forgive me afterwards and walk away without attempting to charge me for my earlier assault.

Dang... I wish I was THAT good after my first four months... (then again... that was back before creative existed and everything had to be built legit... Thank Mojang for Progress.)

You have a fine eye for detail. All those little buttons, steps, and trapdoors turn what would otherwise be flat buildings into very beautiful and three-dimensional structures. Those few interiors you showed are splendid as well; like the outside, richly furnished and swimming in detail.

Love what you've done so far. Keep up the good work! +rep

Great detailing on the main structure and on the clock tower in the foreground of the first screenshot. The large purple (butterflies?) perched around the main structure are especially nice- they really perk up and add color to the build. The bridges connecting the towers of the main structures appear a little on the thin and unstable side... maybe try adding some stone arches at the bottoms of them to thicken them up some?

Dang... I was actually kind of sad to return to the land of the living. I just wanted keep going on my epic adventure; admiring the marvelous landscapes, scratching my head over innovative and fun puzzles, searching every one of the many enticing side passages for diamond blocks (5 total at the end)... But I can't anymore because I'm alive... :(

I think I'm gonna go kill myself now.

I've been vegetarian for about... 8 years I think. I originally stopped eating it because I didn't care for the concept of an animal being killed to produce my food. And after watching some very depressing Netflix docs on how meat is mass produced in the USA (Food Inc. anyone?), I have no intentions of switching back to an omnivorous diet either.

Being a huge fan of the Golden City, I'm excited to see that you're starting on a new project. The sheer scale and detail of what you've accomplished so far just completely blows the mind. Everything is a showstopper in itself, but that palace especially is a real work of art.

Marvelous work so far! I'm looking forward to seeing what spectacular builds you come up with next. +rep for you.

What a wacky, crazy, colorful world! Love the army of chibis. I was able to recognize almost all of them, despite not being a viewer of any of the shows. The pony/AT-frost guy sleigh was especially creative and seasonally apt. And... is that Horo in front of the little medieval village? :D

Great work and +rep for you.

Detailed, green, rambling, freestyle- exactly my type of city! And you say this was done in survival too? So much work... but the end result is absolutely stunning! I might hop on your sever some time so I can explore the city in person. Something tells me that there's much more to see besides the tantalizing glimpses the screenshots offer.

Maybe some clutter, to give your residential area a busier, livelier look? Crates, barrels, clothslines, carts, sheds, personal gardens, log piles, and any other odds and ends you can think of. A lighting system would be cool too; for example, a network of decorative lanterns for the wealthier residents, while something more simple like torches on wooden posts for the poorer folks.

Love what you've done so far! The medieval fantasy houses look splendid, and the new road/canal wall is a plus as well- definite improvement from the initial wooden walkway. I hope you keep working on this town- judging from what you've done so far, I'd bet it will turn out incredible when it's finished! ;)

posted a message on Dwarven city of Stormheim [WIP]
Loving it so far! As everyone else said, the texture pack really complements the build. Although, I suspect that this city, with its elaborate masonry and awing massiveness, would look spectacular even without the texture pack.

May I suggest adding clusters of spindly stalagmites/stalactites? Aside from looking nice, it would also make sense due to the presence of all that water. Speaking of which, maybe try adding a water network too, made of pipes or aqueducts, to power any hydraulic machines, or provide clean drinking water to those hard-working, thirsty dwarves (unless, of course, they survive strictly on ale XP)?

posted a message on Which company/organization makes you the angriest?
Not too long ago, I made the mistake of clicking "Next" instead of the little, greyed out "Skip" button in the corner while downloading something, and accidentally agreed to have the Babylon trollbar installed in my web browser. Flashy "CLICK HERE" or "UR COMPUTER MIGHT BE INFECTED" scum adds polluted the home page, and I think some malware also found it's way into my PC. I tried everything to get rid of the toolbar; ran anti-malware programs, turned off everything with the Babylon name in Firefox's settings, and did a manual scan throughout all my files, deleting everything with "Babylon" in the title. And. The. Toolbar. Still. Was. There. Every. Time. I. Opened. Firefox. Eventually, I searched online and found one working solution out of many non-working ones on how to get rid of it.

So yeah... the Babylon company is currently pretty high on my "Wish would burn to ash" list.
