Also, I was wondering. Say another character accuses Laris of being gay, and he says "Every night at midnight I am going to go to your house and try to burn it down." Is it okay if I burn that mother down?
If I had to guess I would go with no unless you ask the player first XD that seems like a really bad RP excuse to go around burning down houses. Especially considering your character matches the gay stereotype. I would be relatively PO'd if you burnt down my house

The overworked soldier retrieved a small steel lighter from his pocket and raised it to light his cigarette. He sighed; he still hadn’t received the gin and tonic he ordered several minutes ago. What the hell was the barman doing? These country-bumpkin bars just weren’t doing it for him. The sooner he could finish business and get out, the better. The door to the backroom opened as a bearded man stepped out looking in his direction, the two made eye contact. He figured this was the man he was supposed to be meeting. They certainly don’t do mission briefing as they used to. They get vaguer and vaguer every day. Standing up from his stool, he slowly makes his way across the room. He passes the barman saying “Forget about the drink.” He follows the man through the heavy wooden door. As it swings closed, a second man side-steps behind him. He drops his cigarette to to the floor after he feels the man behind him pressing what seems to be a derringer into his back.
((Gah, I hate roleplay examples there’s just no context so I never know what to do, there you go. XD Also, I wasn’t totally sure if you wanted a minecraft style example or just RP in general, I gave you the latter as you can tell. Figured it’d be more interesting.))

It’s just that when things got tough and there wasn’t a lot of money around, the Elwoods ended up there. It isn’t too bad, there is no rent, and if you know where to look, you could find various contraptions amidst the junk. Cecelia is an only child and her parents don’t have jobs. Although, she could make a bit of cash by looking through all of the garbage of the rust and pawning them off in town, it paid for some food anyway.
She had been fascinated with some of the things she had found digging through the rust. One of the things she had refused to pawn was an old broken steam repeating rifle. She studied the clockwork mechanism for a while, trying to figure out how to fix it. There were missing pieces in the firing mechanism, the steam chamber was busted open, there was no magazine, and the long brass stock was beat up and dented. She tried taking apart old watches and clocks she found looking for gears that would fit. She couldn’t find any that would fit together inside the gearbox.
Cecelia grew up in The Rust, but she didn’t like it. She wanted a real job and wanted to leave. She wanted to do bigger things. So that’s just what she did. She biked into town always carrying a long switchblade in her back pocket. It wasn’t an uncommon thing to do around where she lived, things were dangerous. She had found her way into an older watchmaker’s shop and spent a lot of time there looking at the merchandise. She longed to purchase a watch, but knew she couldn’t afford it. Theft had crossed her mind, but she didn’t want to be like the other thugs found in The Rust.
She got to know the man better as the days went on, she enjoyed watching him work. She decided that’s what she wanted to do, not making watches, but she wanted to learn to work with the gears and cogs residing inside of them. She ended up asking for an apprenticeship. The man wasn’t looking for assistance, nor did he feel like giving lessons, so he denied her request. She was persistent, she was begging to work under him, even if it meant doing it for free. The man knew he didn’t have anyone to look over the shop when he retires, he also knew she didn’t plan on sticking around to do it for him, but he agreed anyway. He insisted on paying her; he said it wouldn’t be right if he didn’t. She had no objections.
Time passed and she learned the mechanics of these devices. She found the mechanism in that old rifle rather simple, and easily bought a few gears and cogs to fix it up. She had also purchased a box of lead bullets, a steam tank, and a heater to replace the old ones. She fixed it just as she knew she would. Her parents knew she had been spending time at the clock shop, but didn’t realize how much she really had been learning until they heard the sound of led penetrating sheet metal behind the house. Cecelia’s mother found her standing behind the house laughing like a mad-woman cradling the steaming rifle in her arms.
She had found herself a job, but was still stuck in the rust. She decided it was time to leave. She told her this to her family, they may not have liked it, but they also knew there was nothing they could do. She left the next day, on her 15th birthday, leaving behind a parting gift. It seemed like she should’ve been the one receiving gifts, not the other way around, but it doesn’t matter in the end. She had pieced together a brass pocket watch. Nothing really fancy, but she had selected and purchased the pieces herself. She also had their last name engraved on it. It read Elwood in beautiful cursive lettering.
She had finally left and spent her days traveling the lands, exploring the world, along the way she did repair work for various clockwork devices. She did this for a long time, not really sure where she was going with life. As she passed thirty, years went on, and she neared 35, she decided she would set out to see the clockwork islands in the sky of AIR.
((Okay, that was very dragged out XD. I started this going ‘great, the backstory,’ but now I’m like how the crap did I produce 7 paragraphs of that o_O Anway, enjoy. If anything is wrong lore wise lemme know and I’ll fix it up, can’t wait to get on the server, sounds like it’ll be fun. So I did a little essay in English for homework today, and this backstory is like 300 words longer, not sure how that happened. XDD))

Well, it being summer, I have a lot of time on my hands. I've been pretty bored lately, and besides checking FB and email, when I'm not programming I'll most likely be on here. Although I also must eat, sleep, hangout with friends etc. But this will consume 4+ hours give or take, depending on what's going on IRL.
