After extensive testing, we've determined that in it's current state, Galacticraft would be detrimental to the server, so will most likely not be installed. However, the Direwolf20 pack for Feed the Beast, as well as Optifine would be included. We also feel that the Power Converters mod would be a good idea.

    Howdy!

My name is Bandit, and I'm from the gaming community TBoB. We used to host a fairly succssful Tekkit server a while back, but we shifted our focus to other games. I'm here to tell you that it's a possibility we could have a new server up and running soon, but only if there is sufficient interest.

The server would be a Feed the Beast server, with Optifine and possibly Galacticraft. We would also be limiting the size of the server to a reasonable amount to promote community teamwork. There's one thing we value above all else at TBoB and that is a good community spirit. As well, crafting chunk loaders will be disabled, but every player will be given one chunk loader kit (don't worry, if you die and lose it, we'll replace it no problem)

The server would be whitelisted, and there would be a subscription fee of 5 dollars per month. The server would have a 15 slot whitelist, plus more room for TBoB's admins (Do not ask in this thread for admin. It will seriously displease me :D )

This is not an application thread. This is a thread for seeing the level of interest. The server is not live, and the details have not been completely ironed out yet. We want to see if there is sufficient interest to make the server viable.

    Happy Trails!

Just here to bump the thread. Once again, our community site with our forums is www.thebrotherhoodofbastards.com and we have plenty of room on our server for newcomers. Should we get more interest than we can handle, we are happy to purchase more memory for a larger server if we need.

Hey guys, sorry if our site is a little buggy. We're just getting off the ground, and our poor webmaster has been working night and day to fix any bugs. He's done a great job so far, and he's working for free.

In the mean time, Fontanis, I went ahead and changed your permissions on the forum manually, so you should be able to post an application now. As for everyone else posting their information in this thread, let me clear up a few things.

We're no longer whitelisted. Instead, we're permissions based. In order to be able to do anything other than walk around, you must be promoted by one of our 4 management members. We're all online daily, 3 of us live in North America and one in Australia, so there's only a few hours in any given day where one of us cannot be reached.

In order to get promoted to a full member on the server, you must apply on our community forums. Applications in this thread will be ignored. Our community site, once again is www.thebrotherhoodofbastards.com

In closing, thank you all so much for the interest. We've got a good community started, but new faces are always welcome! Please swing by our forums and apply, and if you aren't sure, pop on the server and just look around for a bit, see what we've got and then make a decision.

    Happy Trails!

The server is up and running, details and applications are at our site at www.thebrotherhoodofbastards.com. I hope to see you all there! So far we've had a few people pop in and say hello, and things are going great, however the more is most definitely the merrier when it comes to Minecraft.

    Happy Trails!

Our Server hasn't been purchased yet, but our Management have decided to purchase it post haste. In the meantime, please feel free to visit our site at www.thebrotherhoodofbastards.com and apply for membership. When your membership is accepted for minecraft (we have seperate memberships for Minecraft and Steam Games) you will automatically be whitelisted for our Tekkit Server, as well as any and all future Minecraft servers we get going.

    Happy Trails!

Well, this amount of support is amazing, and definitely encouraging. Our site is up, but it is still under construction. Our Webmaster lives in Australia, so unfortunately there are only a handful of waking hours during the week in which our schedules match up to meet about things. The site should be up before the weekend, and when the site is up and running, we'll get application forms made up for all you fine folks to use.

Thanks again for the interest and support. I truly hope this server makes a good home for all the fine miners, crafters and others in this thread.

This level of interest is great. I'm gonna keep an eye on this thread for a while longer. The smallest server we can rent is good for up to 20 people, so if you have any friends or anyone you can think of who would like to play, please point them in our direction!

Alright, well, it seems that mobs are something you guys want, so I think having them would be a solid plan. I would, however, turn off the block damage from creepers so as to avoid giant machines and pipeworks being destroyed in the blink of an eye.

Hello, my name is Bandit and I'm one of the owners of the new gaming community TBoB. We currently host one Gmod Server, and are looking into hosting a Minecraft Server. Basically, what I'm here to do is to see what kind of interest there is in our server.

We plan on hosting a 20 slot, whitelisted Tekkit build server. PvP would be turned off, mobs would be on, but with creeper block damage turned off. You would be free to build to your heart's content. Griefers and hackers will not be tolerated, and will be punished with extreme prejudice.

Basically, we'd like a fair amount of people, not to commit, but just to express interest. It would be a 24/7, 99.9% uptime server with DDoS protection. Again, it would be whitelisted, so no random griefers would get in. We would start with a 20 slot server, and a whitelist with between 25-30 slots. Should the server take off well, we'd be open to increasing the size/hosting a second server.

Please post in this thread if you would be interested in joining this server. Serious inquiries only please. This is not an application thread, so please do not apply. Applications will be filled out on our community site once we get a minecraft section up and running.

    Thanks, and Happy Mining!

EDIT: Community site and forums are up. www.thebrotherhoodofbastards.com
