    For the inhabitants of the dimensions, what about having steampunk airships/floating islands in an ocean dimension, you could get like steampunk machinery that you could smelt into steampunk ingots (kinda like smelting dwarven stuff in skyrim) or find parts to make like steampunk pistols, muskets, blunderbusses (shotguns) and you could craft it with a string and a sword to add a bayonet, but in the ocean of the dimension there would only be krakens, giant crabs, gigantic eels, lagiacrusses (long creatures with four legs a tail, a kinda dragon face and it would just circle you and bite you, sometimes hit you with his tail and send you flying) and all of these creatures have a need to destroy any passing boat...

    I would help with the textures but my computer is having some technical difficulties plus I am already helping with the oceanica mod right now, and you seem like you don't really need that much help :D but I could send you one or two ore textures I made when I had free time if you want, this mod really looks cool and I think it'll go far

    Thx for the suggestions but it doesn't really fit the vision i had for the mod. The mod is gonna require a new world and wont be compatible with much of anything. Your world will become a bit obsolete with this mod installed as i am removing plenty of vanilla features. Thx for the reply though and good luck with the mod your working on.

    I know what your saying. Love Total War franchise(although Rome 2 wans't all we had hoped for) I just dont think this is very feasible in Minecraft. Would say the engine couldnt handle it but, Minercaft rlly doesnt have an engine. use commands and spawn 100+ mobs and its just udder chaos. But its an interesting thought, i myself have thoguht of it, i just dont believe its very doable. But if you ar anyone proves me wrong, I will be quite happy TBH.

    In the pic you posted above....there are options down on the left...these are for your spawn blocks, this will create the code for you to allow the structure to only generate on certain blocks. However, there is a better way to do this part so I basically just uncheck the two check boxes just above that to include all air blocks (depending on how you plan to generate your structure) and also for the spawn blocks...I will look and see if I can find my list again...


    Ya so i got my java file, looks fine, and the negative numbers i got in there are -16, -15 and -6. and then alot of 0s which i assume is air blocks.

    Yes, but i cant even generate a java file because i have no spawn blocks set, but i cant set a spawn block because there is no block options. also post that list if u can and if i figure this out, that might help. Thx for your patience.

    Sorry for my noobiness, but i have a feeling we arn't using the same converter or something. I have Mithion's java converter and its a very barebones java program.

    Yes the tool is outdated, but it does still work, you just have to find the real values of the negative numbers...I have a bunch of them already if you want them....Also only other methods out there are importing schematics, which is a pain and also does not properly place doors or torches and some other blocks. Another method expands on the regular world gen class, using the method I use by coolAlias you will need to convert your world.setBlocks to an array, very nice utility and handles all blocks correctly as well as allows for spawning of mobs and placing loot in chests and so much more...depending on how large your structures are you may want to look at importing schematics, if less than 50x50 you should use the method I use....


    Very interesting. When add a .schematic file, it really shows no options or anything to change. No known blocks, and idk if the slices are suppose to be black squares but thats what i see. and can you expand at bit more on the method you use? thanks for the help man.

    So i know there is the .schematic to java converter, but that doesn't seem to work for me and its outdated. I am wondering if there is a easier way then manually coding and placing blocks. Something faster because the structures might become quite complex and large-ish. Any help is appreciated.

    I did plan on villages, and things of the sort yes. Perhaps with quests. Tho they are not on the top of the to-do list, i don't see why not! Stick around and spread the word and anything can happen.
