The world of Valoria was dominated by two Kingdoms for thousands of years. The heirs of royalty have been passed down from generations to generations, controlling peace between the Kingdoms of Argonia and Kasath. Both Kingdoms had very different populations as a result of heredity. The Argonians had a more stout and petite look about them that made them more agile and fast, while the Kasaths were more burly and widely built that made them stronger. Each kingdom operated separately and residents lived their lives in one home, splitting the two societies finely. The king of Argonia, King Gerald, was a greedy man, he would impose new taxes on his people, and he believed that he was the true king of both kingdoms. After his people refused to pay a tax on imports, he made a radical decision. Thinking he was the true king, he set a residential tax on both kingdoms. King Gerald had turned his back on equality and his people. His greed took over his operations, he no longer cared for the well-being of his kingdom.
Kasath was upset by the tax. The king, King James, did not believe that Gerald was truly the king of Valoria. He would not accept his tax and would not accept Gerald trying to become the king of Valoria. A messenger from Kasath brought a letter to King Gerald telling him that the tax was outrageous and that he is not the true king. King James wanted to reason with Gerald, but Gerald’s ignorance blinded his foresight. He ordered his servant to fetch him a match. He struck the match and lit the letter with it. Ashes of the letter fell to the floor and blew away in a breeze as King Gerald sat in his chair, staring into the distance.
Tensions grew, and as King Gerald continued to believe that he was the true king, the Kingdom of Kasath only grew angrier. Trade had halted, the two kingdoms refused to exchange goods due to the tension. Small fights were breaking out. Lords were being assassinated. King Gerald and King James foresaw only destruction in the echoes of this chaos.
A peasant worker of Kasath was feeling rebellious and nationalistic about his Kingdom, and amongst the chaos, plotted his assassination of Prince Arlock of Argonia. In his dimly lit room made of the mud of labor, he held a knife in one hand and bottle of the finest poison in the other. He brought the tip of the knife to the bottle and gently dipped the knife in the poison as he smirked. Two nights later, in a break of the chaos, comes the peasant, dressed in all black, slinking through Argonia. Utilizing his smaller build, he was able to pass through doorways and sneak past guards easier. He worked his way through the main castle room as he entered a hallway in which one door led to Prince Arlock’s room. Only one door had light coming through the bottom, and the peasant approached the door. He braced himself for what would be his last duty in his life, believing that he would be promptly killed for his actions. He quickly swept open the door and his eyes met with Arlock who was awake in his bed, but the wind of the door opening was too much for the candle on Arlock’s bedside, and the lights went out. It was pitch black. The peasant strode to the Prince and lunged at the dark figure he believed was Arlock. The peasant had struck Arlock in his neck and the poison had done the trick. The peasant, satisfied with his stealth kill, walked over to the Prince’s desk, took the Prince’s crown, and put it on his head.
The following morning, reports of Prince Arlock’s assassination alarmed the Argonians and their first thought was that a man of Kasath had done it. It was the final strike. King Gerald had enough, he declared war on Kasath, armed his men, and prepared for the first, and what would be the last, war of Argonia and Kasath.
Archers filed along the walls of each Kingdom, catapults were lit, and knights on steeds covered the ground. Gerald and James stood on their opposing towers across the battlefield and looked at each other.
Gerald “I am the true king, stop this fight and live under my rule happy.”
James “Never.”
At the sound of his James’ word, Catapults were launched, arrows and fire arrows alike were shot. Knights charged, blood covered the grass within minutes.
After days of fighting, each kingdom had been brought to debris and broken buildings. Few men were left and many were trapped under the rubble of fallen walls. King James couldn’t found, his body was most likely left somewhere on the battlefield, too mangled to be identified. King Gerald lay alive, his legs trapped under a stone slab. He brought himself to the strength to lift himself out from under the slab. His legs and feet were sore and he couldn’t walk steadily. Ash was falling from the dark sky, reminiscent of the ash that fell from the letter he burned. He staggered on one knee, and rose is head. In front of him stood the peasant that killed the Prince and he was wearing the Prince’s crown. King Gerald, unable to speak, stared in surprise at the peasant, they were the only two men standing on the battlefield. The Prince slowly walked towards the king. He reached down and took the crown off of the king’s head and put in on his head. He raised his bow and arrow and aimed at Gerald’s head. He released. The peasant looked around the battlefield at the mess that war created. War has an effect on people. It gets to the point where most have forgotten the reason for their fighting and are simply fighting off of blind madness. The peasant took what was left of the poison he used on his knife, and drank it. He fell to the ground and became one of the fallen.
Now it is time for you, you are a survivor of this immense war, and it is up to you to decide how you want to live. Be a trader and support others, start your own society, kill and destroy, the choice is yours.

2. Build in a medieval fantasy style.
3. Use a skin that is suited for the medieval ages.

Rules']
1. Use common sense. Kingdombattles is a complicated server. If you are unsure of something, especially if you think it’s against the rules, ask a staff member and they will help you to the best of their abilities. If you feel like your question wasn’t answered or you feel mistreated in any way take it to the forums.
2. No hacks of any kind, this includes Xray(resource packs included), player radar or PVP hacks.
3. Advertising servers is a bannable offense. However, posting youtube links, channels or website links to KingdomBattles is perfectly fine.

">Factions Information[/color">']
1. Factions will be known as kingdoms.
2. Kingdom will have a set King/Queen. These leaders may set their own kingdom rules, including taxes, government and religion. Members of the kingdom must oblige these rules or be dealt with, in any fashion, by the leaders.
3. A kingdom must have a minimal population of 5 members or it will be disbanded.
4. Inactive kingdoms will be disbanded and inactive kings will be replaced by someone in the kingdom. The staff team will decide who is best to lead and when to disband.
5. You’re allowed to join other kingdoms; however, the constant changing of kingdom is considered kingdom hoping and is not permitted.
Starting a Kingdom:
Looking to become a king and begin building your own kingdom be sure to follow this guideline and if you’re still confused be sure to ask any staff member for help.
1. To become king you must have 5 members, including yourself, willing to join you.
2. After that, you will the need permission from an admin. An Admin has the right to say no.
3. Once approved, you will need to pay the admin $800,000 to become king. Then pay another $50,000 to create the faction.
4. When choosing a name for your kingdom be sure it fits within the medieval fantasy setting of the server.
5. Once created, the kingdom will become peaceful until determined by the staff to take off peaceful.
6. Next Step, you will need to create a faction description including a simple description and history of the kingdom, a motto, kingdom’s symbol and flag colors. Examples can be found on the website.
7. Finally once that is all done, ask an Admin if there is anymore to be done.
Joining a Kingdom:
Looking for a kingdom to join can be difficult. There are several ways you can go about finding one that suits you perfectly. Here is a guideline on how to join a kingdom:
1. When on the server speak to the Kings and Queens of the server. Get to know them and their kingdom.
2. When on the website search for the kingdom forums. Here you can view all the kingdoms on the server and post an recruitment application. Applications may vary depending on the kingdom, but the king or one of the members will respond to your application ASAP.
3. Prove your worth, meaning prove that you’re loyal, hardworking and will be dedicated to the server and the kingdom.
Costs:
- Creating a faction: $50,000
- Claiming land: $2,500
- Setting a /f home: $1,000
The /f admin of the faction will have full access to the banking system. Do /f money for all your commands.
Assault Rules:
Assaulting a kingdom is exciting and entertaining but certain guidelines and rules must be respected before one happens. Here is a guideline on how to carry out an assault:
- Any kingdom can be assaulted, except kingdoms that are set in peaceful mode.
- Only a /f admin or /f mod can declare an assault.
- An Admin does not have to be presence for an assault.
- The kingdom being assaulted must have at least 3 members on to be assaulted.
- To declare an assault, the message should look like this “I lord of Kasai hereby declare an assault on the Kingdom of Blazeridge!” ALL assaults must be declared.
- After the declaration of the assault, a screenshot must taken by the assaulting party for evidence, if needed.
- Kingdoms can’t declare an assault for another kingdom, meaning if two kingdoms want to assault the same kingdom each /f admin or /f mod must declare an assault.
- Assault will only last 15 minutes or until the kingdom under assault can no longer fight
back.
- Spawn killing is not allowed.
- Must wait 30 minutes before the next assault.
- A kingdom may assault twice a day.
Siege Rules:
It’s time to conquer your enemy and show them the true power of your kingdom. To do this a siege must be declared. Here are the guideline and rules of a siege:
- Any kingdom can be sieged, except kingdoms that are set in peaceful mode.
- Only a /f admin or /f mod can declare a siege.
- The targeted kingdom must have at least 4 members on and out of those 4 a /f admin or /f mod.
- An Admin must be present for a siege to take place, without one no sieges can take place.
- When all of the above has been met, the /f admin or /f mod, of the sieging kingdom, will be able to declare a siege. For example: “Kasai declares a siege on Blazeridge!” – King of Kasai.
- Unlike assaults, not every kingdom needs to declare a siege. The allies of the attacking kingdom can simply join up and fight, but if the attacking side wins the spoils go to the kingdom that formally declared the siege.
- After the siege is declared, an Admin will approve the siege, once approved the sieging kingdom must pay $35,000 of in-game money to the lead Admin. Note: Admin have the right to disapprove and will give an explanation as to why.
- The request for aid by both parties is acceptable.
- After approval from an Admin, all kingdoms involved will have 15 minutes to prepare for battle. The attacking kingdoms may not leave there kingdom until the 15 minutes are up.
- Once the 15 minutes are up, the attacking kingdom and it’s allies may now journey to the defending kingdom keep or castle. Coordinates to the keep or castle will be given, so the attacking kingdom can meet there. Once there the battle can begin.
- Once the siege begins everyone involved will have 5 lives. The siege will last for 5 Minecraft days.
- In order to capture the keep or castle, the attacking kingdoms must have more members in the capture area(throne room) than the defenders. If the defenders manage to kill the attackers holding the capture poin or have more members than the enemy, they hold the capture point.
Conditions of victory:
Attackers will be victorious if:
-They are able to hold the keep or castle for 2 MC day.
-If the defenders can no longer fight back or every member of the defending side has died at least 5 times.
Defenders will be victorious if:
-They are able to hold the keep or castle.
-If the attacker can no longer fight back or every member of the attacking side has died at 5 times.
