Hey Azanor, I love the mod, it is my favorite hands down. Anyway, I was wondering if you have ever thought about adding Thaumic Golems? Maybe they could come in the six elemental types (Vis, Fire, Wind, Water, Earth, and Taint) and they would all have a different purpose and maybe look diffent too. For exsample the Earth Golem could help you mine and gather blocks, the player could tell it what to collect (you whould have to have the item/block first though) and set it off to do their bidding. And the Taint Golem could inflict random de-buffs (slowness, poison, etc) on it's foes.
I hope you take this idea into cosideration and keep up the amazing work.
-Glistering Melon (Not food): It sounds good to me. We'll discuss it. -Spider Eye: I don't know because We've planned that the snowballs will have the same effect. Maybe as a close combat weapon and has less potion durabillity. -Sugar Cane: We'll discuss it. -String: It would be possible. We'll discuss it. -End Stone:Sticks and blaze rods don't have any durabillity. They're permanent. Well, we'll discuss it.
According to the OP and in-game experiences; "A simple stick can easily be held by a clay soldier... ...for 15 uses before it breaks." and same with the armor; "...reducing every blow from a fellow soldier by 50% for 15 hits in total."
Also have you thought about adding an item that stops the soldiers from picking up dropped items? After you load up you soldiers with the items you want, give them this "no pickups" items and they won't loot items from fallen enemies.
This would work well with my End Stone idea because let’s just say you have given some gravel to a few soldiers and you want them to act as archers, normally they would throw their stones then pick up a stick and start doing more melee combat, not very archer-like. This would be fantastic for players who love to have their soldiers play a specific role on the battle field.
Here are a few more ideas that I have been thinking of.
-Glistering Melon (Not food): A soldier holding this can heal living teammates back to max health, however, it can't heal itself. Has 4 uses and the holder will only seek out other soldiers with less than 50% health left.
-Spider Eye: Used in a similar way to redstone and slimeballs, the holder throws venom at close range at the enemy, reducing the foe's movement speed for 15 seconds. Has 4 uses. Since Clay Soldiers are, well, made of clay they can't really be poisoned in the traditional sense, but the poison will seep into their bodies and makes moving difficult.
-Sugar Cane: Acts a sort of a blow gun upgrade, making gravel throwers much more accurate.
-String: A soldiers with string can lasso enemies and drag them towards them. 4 uses.
-End Stone: An upgrade item that is not used up when dropped similar to flint and wool. A soldier that has this upgrade will not lose durability for Sticks, Blaze Rods (do they even have durability), Armor, and has unlimited gravel (and snowball and fireballs in the next update) , etc.
Redstone, Slimeballs, Clayballs, Food, Ghast Tears, Blaze Powder, String and Spider Eyes are not affected.
I love what you have done with the horses, but why not do something like that to the soldiers themselves?
Here is what I am thinking; instead of just having one type of soldier like you have now, why not have 3 unique types, being "Slim", "Basic" and "Bulky".
-Slim: Faster than the Basic soldiers but have less health.
-Basic: The current soldiers we all know and love.
-Bulky: Has more health than the Basic soldiers but are much slower.
Slim and Bulky aren't new "colors", they could be dyed by the player into any of the team colors. So for an example, Blue team could have 3 slim soldiers 5 Basic soldiers and 15 Bulky soldiers.
Slim soldiers could be made by adding a feather to the crafting recipe and the Bulky soldiers would be made from an extra clay ball.
Yes, I do know that sugar makes the soldiers faster and iron gives them more defence, but I like that fact that Slims have a permanent speed boost and could get even faster with the sugar. You could also load them up with armor and iron cores and they would zip around the battle field and could quickly get from one group of enemies to the next acting as a sort of shock reinforcement. As far as the Bulky ones go, they would have more hearts of health, not just a defence boost that you normally get from leather and iron. (Maybe each type could have certain items that only that type of soldier could use.)

I like the middle copper texture. If you had more pictures I could think of a name, it is hard to come up with something when you only give us pictures of the ore.
Vibrance v1.1 is out now and fully compatable with Minecraft 1.1. Here is what has been added:
-v1.1:
-NetherBrick texture.
-NetherWart texture.
-MagmaCube texture.
-Improved Blaze texture to match the new NetherBrick.
-SilverFish texture.
-SpawnerEgg textures.
-And some other small touches.

Nice work so far, keep it up.

Thanks, I just finished the texture. I am still taking suggestions for the other cat textures.

Thank you all.
Also with Minecraft 1.2 coming out soon, what types of cat textures (3 different types) would you like to see?

I have done a massive overhaul to the Ghast but I still can't seem to get it right. If you have any suggestions feel free to tell me.
