Could someone have mined diamond with silk touch and put it there? I mean I don't understand how that could have got there... It's literally impossible to find that... says the minecraft code...

Neither of us had access to ST for sure, and neither of us had /gamemode or /give, rendering your theory absolutely impossible.
I have a 10x10 pen with two sheep of every color in the game. All you need is to start out with 2 Wheat, lead them into the pen, then mate them like crazy until you get the amount desired. From there, create dyes and apply as needed
This isn't "fake" it's something I've seen EVERYWHERE in one server. It's called "troll ores". They look like ores, but they are actually dirt or cobblestone blocks with glitchy textures. Right clicking the troll ore will turn it into it's actual block.
Nonono, that's an anti-X-Ray plugin, and this was genuine diamond ore that actually yielded two diamonds.
Guys this has happend to me on a server before but not like this it was when i was breaking a pile of dirt under it was 1 diamond ore

For all you claiming "FAKEE", go check out Kdude63's post, he has server logs and he checks to see if we spawned one in, or if anyone ever placed it. Undeniable proof no one staged it. We didn't have access to /gamemode, or /give, or anything.

Thanks, Kdude. Glad it was reopened. And just to say, and I'm not saying he did, but he could havve just as easily replaced the diamond blocks with stone as we could have placed them. Just saying, not accusing, although I doubt it.
If you wanna look around for it, about 300 or so blocks away from spawn in an ocean or something, you can take your time doing that, but like I said, I'll get coords tomorrow.

Pistons to move a diamond to above sea level? Nope. And I can assure none of us 3 knew about this... No one had a Silk Touch until about an hour after this happened when I made one, actually...My friend and I in the picture live together, and the owner just started, so neither are possibilities.

Diamond "veins" are hard-coded to spawn only between layers 0 and 16. It also only get its spawn-routine run only once per chunk generated.
That gives me an idea.... Tomorrow once I get back to the area I need to X-Ray out the chunk to see if there is another vein... Hmmmm...

So, my friend and I were playing our Vanilla SMP, and decided to travel across this ocean, when I passed a small island and I double taked. I was looking right at two diamond ores. There were only two, on level 65 and 66. We checked with the one other person on the server, (Who has the console) to see if he or anyone placed it, and he didn't believe us, so he decided to check the logs. Sure enough,no one in the history of the server spawned a diamond ore block. He was as freaked out as both my friends were.

Never, in my two years of playing, have I ever even HEARD of a surface diamond, and so even I was skeptical at first. I'll swear on the bible that I'm not lying, and I know more than likely I wouldn't believe a story like this. I'm not asking you to believe, I just thought I should share it. I have an image of the seed, if anyone likes, but it's vanilla, and I'm on the other side of the world with no way to TP anywhere near it, so I'll get coords tomorrow.
if you guys have ANY questions, feel free to ask me, and I invite anyone to come up with theories as to how this happened, or why. Thanks!
EDIT: Come on, seriously? The thread was locked. Guys, I can assure you I'm not "trolling hurr durr" or faking this, and I have two other witnesses, the only ones on the server. I'm rather in inquiry as to how or why this happened rather than sharing it/showing it off.
