    So I was playing on a modpack server through the technic launcher and I installed an xray mod. The owner contacted me about it, saying he took a look into my mod history and listed out the mod I was using, as well as some other mods I had included (Mousetweaks, NEI, WAILA, etc.) I was wondering how this is possible, and how one might defend against this sort of thing?

    So whats the plan now that the 1.8 mods have started to come out? Is Strange Aeons going to continue as intended, or do we plan to wait for some of the other mods to join in on some of the new ones like Psi, Thaumcraft 5, and Intangible? Also, I have a map/build suggestion (assuming the creator gives us permission.)

    Additionally, I might suggest the mod realistic world gen. It might shake some things up (for example, I see that we have a mod called default world gen) but I can attest that the mod makes the landscape INCREDIBLE. I would suggest at least looking into it.

    I checked out Ye Gammols function and it seems like it would be really annoying to use on a large scale. For example if you wanted a panel of a block, you'd have to place each individual pixel, where as with microblocks, you can just cut it up nice and easy. The gammols function seems like more of a sculpting and decorational bit rather than a building addition. As a sidenote, could we remove the block physics part of enviromine? Block physics is just a nuisance that seriously inhibits building and has no real positive influence on the game experience. Also noticed that there was no Thaumic Tinkerer, and was wondering if that might be added.

    Really looking forward to the server! I hear complaints all the time about how easy minecraft is and it looks like you've gone and mixed a whole bunch of Dark Souls and wickedness in it. I'm really glad that you were able to add thaumic horizons, it fits really well with the theme. We really appreciate all the hard work you're putting into this pack svart.

    Please no lava monsters. They are the most evil mod I have ever encountered and nigh impossible for the casual caver to kill. Also, seeing as thaumcraft will be the main mod, could we add some addons like thaumic horizons, thaumic esoterica,and witching gadgets? They are all very good mods, especially thaumic horizons.

    If you want the RPG feel you could add CustomNPC's. It lets you add NPC's with various items and tools and they can say be used in boss battles or to carry dialogue. Also, will there be any Thaumcraft addons? Thaumic horizons, thaumic expansion, witching gadgets, all of those are really good addons. If the mudpack is focused around 2 mods we should ensure that there's plenty to do.

    Seems to me that eldritch studies isn't necessarily "dead." I mean if the same people are creating a similarly themed mudpack, then it would seem to me that we have ourselves a resurrection of eldritch studies. I'm really looking forward to coming back to this pack. It was one of the most well put together packs I have played to date and brings a lot of nostalgia. Now seems like it would be a good time to start up the pack because most of the mod authors have taken a stop due to the 1.8 update. I hope to see this modpack up soon.
