    Oh cool, I checked out your signature and your Infinite Night Mod looks good. I would use whatever is necessary to get it to work. I still haven't tried out the previous post's mod, so I guess I'll use yours. Thanks for showing me it!

    This is great news! I will try it out as soon as I can. Also glad to hear that sleeping still works and doesn't make the game crash or something. If I knew anything about coding, I would probably have tried to do something myself. Hopefully this won't "break water" or whatever that means for me... but even if it does I could probably live with it.

    I totally agree that the terrain has become boring. The earliest beta updates in this game may not have had nearly as many features compared to the current game, but the terrain was amazing. Sometimes I just want to play some older version just to build on the exciting terrain, despite there not being as many features and dumb AI.

    There really seems to be no variety... everything looks the same. I don't have that much against the seemingly-endless caves since that doesn't seem to affect the overworld that much, though ravines sure seem to look like big, old scars in the terrain.

    Please, if you can, make it so that in the survival mode, the game starts at evening or the dead of night, and can just never turn to day time. An alternative is to just make the day/night cycle REALLY long ( RL years per day), and I could turn it into night-time myself at the beginning.

    The player burns when in direct sunlight, just like zombies and skeletons. I would really like this to be able to play the single-player in a way that I would find really challenging and fun.

    posted a message on Old or Current Armour System?
    I never knew this was changed since 1.8.1 or whenever since I barely use armor because I thought of it as a waste because the armor seemed to last so short, and degrade so fast. Hearing that the system was changed, I might actually bother to make some armor, especially since items can be repaired together now. So, the new armor system sounds better.

    Oh, but if it is the old system, but with the "repair together" feature still in place, then it would make damaged armors worth repairing, and would therefore make the old system a better, more in-depth version. Though, I'm the kind of person that would like the challenge and not use armors anyway, so either way has its benefits.

    I agree "u" and the like should not be used on a forum, but in-game is fine for most shorthand. Though, it's nothing I would pull my hair out for. But, when I see someone using "u", "ur" and not using punctuation when they aren't even somewhat proficient in the English language on a forum, then it gets annoying (Seen that on other forums that have more of a Eastern European-based population).

    I wouldn't expect an 11-year-old to know perfect grammar. Hardly anyone has perfect grammar/punctuation, evident by the OP. But when people don't use good grammar, others tend to not take them as seriously, and if they don't learn good grammar by the time they are applying for a job, it screws them over in the long run.

    Though, it could help if modern English didn't have so many different backgrounds, especially when talking about grammar.
    Example: "Myself" "Yourself"... "Hisself?"
    No... "Himself". It's an irregularity that happened as the language evolved from Old/Middle English. Discussed on page 210 of "A History of the English Language" book by Elly Van Gelderen.

    The ` (accent mark, as opposed to ' ) might be the only option on some non-English keyboards, or the apostrophe is just harder to reach. On the Czech keyboard the apostrophe is harder to get to than the accent mark.

    Also, for example, the colon " : " is hard to get to on some keyboards, like Cyrillic ones, which is why I see some Russians make their smileys like ))) on Russian forums.

    Skyblock was never really meant for Endermen. I don't see how their ability to pick up blocks improves gameplay, so I just disable the feature. I suggest you do the same, because you don't seem to be enjoying the Enderman's griefing, and it only adds uneeded/tedious work.

    Oh yes, Turok and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil were some of the best shooters of the late 90s. I could definitely play that for 10 hours at least once. And even though the graphics were bad (though, Turok 2 certainly wasn't bad for the time), the gore animations (like the Cerebral Bore) made up for it, and of course the gameplay of killing Dinosoids, raptors, and the Primagen, not to mention the music. I personally dislike games where there is a 3-weapon limit, for example.

    I'm pretty sure OptiFine can only do "Night Only" in creative mode (correct me if I'm wrong), so I don't think that would be an appropriate option anyway.

    If someone can make this Permanent Night mod idea a reality, I would be very grateful! Trying to survive in Forever Night-time mode would be amazing, especially with mods like Mo' Creatures that can increase the mob spawn rate.

    Edit: Maybe it can be just quasi-Forever, if true Forever isn't possible; for example, make the game start at the dead of Night, but 1 night lasts 20000 IRL days -- so chances are you aren't going to see the day any time soon. But a true Permanent Night would be better ;)

    ....I don't want that either as it has the option to switch to day as well

    But what's so bad about it, if it can be toggled? You can just pretend that the option isn't there once you've set it to forever night, right? I would prefer that to not having the option at all.
