hey i have done it tutorial vid witch may help you here check this out it covers how to install minecraft forge for 1.6.2 it quite simple to do this link is it the video description thanks let me know if this helps
I'll check it out once my PC doesn't explode next time i attempt to update Minecraft
So many mods I want to install and use say they require Forge. Of course I've heard of Forge beforehand, and since 1.5.2 came out, I've been looking through the Mod forum, but for the life of me, I can't find it anywhere! Please help! A keyword to search would be nice, or something like that! Also, my game started acting weird when I updated to 1.6, so unfortunately I'm still in 1.5.2
It has gravel beaches around the spawn, a small overhang with a lava fall coming of it. Also there's a per-stripped mountain. No water falls that I've found though, but there's still a corner of the map I haven't explored.
Thank you for the critique. Maybe change the enchantment on the knights' armor? I thought some more, and maybe adding respiration for the archer would be a good idea?
This game works best with 3-4 players, or it may become too difficult for one side.
First, define a play area. (Recommended size is about 5 chunks by 5 chunks for 4 players, 4x4 if 3. Recommended biome is jungle, extreme hills, or taiga.)
it is also recommended that hostile mobs are off
Now chose one player to be the archer. The archer gets one bow (power III, punch I, infinity I) some arrows, a golden sword (sharpness II), and full golden armor ( Helmet -protection 3, Respiration 2 // Chest - protection 3// leggings- protection 3// boots- protection 3, feather falling 2), and 5 enchanted gold apples. (Oh, and plenty of food)
Every one else is a knight, they each get an Iron sword (sharpness III, fire aspect I), full leather armor (projectile protection I, protection 1, thorns 2), 2 stander gold apples, and plenty of food.
Give the archer a head start, and the knights chase him.
The goal of the archer is to keep your armor pristine for one day of in game time.
The goal of the knights is not necessarily to kill the archer, but to break a piece of his armor
-If the archer kills a knight, the dead knight is allowed to spectate from creative, but may not interfere or help any player.
-if the archer kills all the knights, the archer wins
the following rules only apply if mobs are ON
-If it is a mob that breaks the archers armor, the archer cannot win, but the knights can if they destroy a different piece.
-If, by 30 minutes, no knights breaks they archers armor, but a mob has, a tie will be declared.
-If they archers dies from a mob, a tie is declared. But if a knight kills the archer, they win.
Yeah, I sorta threw some rules in because we first did this on pocket edition. The original time frame was a day and a half of in game time, and you could go anywhere on the surface of the map.
Hey everyone, I just wanna say right off, if this isn't the place for this thread please tell me so!
Anyway, to the point of the thread. Me and some of my friends have cooked up an idea for, what we think, is a cool mini-game.

The goal of the archer is to keep your armor pristine for 30 minutes of real time.

So maybe go back to original time frame?
