posted a message on [A Server about the History of Minecraft] *Looking for Builders*

Hello, I'm Anaghold, the creator of the Genesis mod.

I have a project to create a public server that will gather builds of the community from the beginning of Minecraft until now. The idea is to make a kind of museum on Minecraft, where people could visit the builds and inventions in the state where the creators have abandoned them.

It's just creating something that brings the community together, new and old players, to preserve from what was the magic of the time, to show the architectural evolution from the first cobble houses until now, to "pay tribute" to those who invented mechanisms, decorative concepts, etc.

To build this server, I need some builders. The style of the museum's architecture should be simple, a bit old school. I would need to do some terraforming and I also plan to set up a minecart circuit to move faster.

A company is interested in this project, they give us a free server.

You can answer in the comments if the project interests you or contact me by MP.

No, the mod isn't dead. We just need help (programmers) to progress faster.

I think I found a good candidate for the swamp rainforest biome: ophiacodon (it lived through in the late carboniferous to early Permian) I think that since it most likely lived in very watery habitats it would be at least "good" at swimming and I imagine living a life style similar to that of a water monitor (semi aquatic but favoring land) and now onto a quick little thing to help you get an idea of this thing's purpose would be if it were added,

as you walk through the murky waters of the swamp rainforest biome you scan ahead for horse-tails which would be a good place to find meganura and just one meganura could feed you for a while (can meganura be eaten?) and as you wade through the water you hear something splash into the water behind you you turn but see nothing but some floating plants you turn back to continue your hunt but then a ophiacodon lunges out of the water at you and drags you to your watery grave.

Ophiacodon is a good idea, but if we add Eryops, they would be too similar. The same is true for Proterogyrinus.

also have you guys thought of adding in Prionosuchus? (a true reason to stay out of the swamp)

picture this your hunting for some meganura to eat and you see what you think is just a log floating down the water as you wade into the murky water to get your meganura suddenly a prionosuchus lunges out of the water and grabs you and drags you to your doom.

Prionosuchus is a animal of the Permian and Meganeura of the Carboniferous, so we can't add this in the swamp rainforest biome.

1.1-is yes , will the player feed the animal?

2-mammals go be hunted by many predators right?

    1- Yes for tame animals.
    1.1- So, yes.
2- Well, not just mammals. But I think we will need to balance things.

Imagine a portal that presents a picture of a cave painting. You then walk into it.

you mean with a wormhole effect?

Looks great. Though I think it'd be more unique among portals if it was something like walking into a cave painting.

what do you mean by "walking into a cave painting"?
