    The issues have been fixed. Changes:
    - fixed some spawners not spawning mobs;
    - blacklisted some entities;
    - added search bar to creative tab;
    - implemented "pick block" function for spawners;

    I kinda feel bad for immediately telling you that my game crashes on a lot of the spawners (all "vanilla" spawner types work though, also a few custom ones).


    Not sure if this will help, but try a next version of the mod - http://www.mediafire.com/file/a0vo8d4v67umbq0/Custom%20Spawners-1.12.2-0.2.jar.
    Changes:
    - fixed server crashes;
    - spawner can be toggled by signal if it has a stack of redstone dust;

    If it crashes, tell me which mob type the spawner had that crashed the game.

    The first build of Custom Spawners (H3NRYxP's idea) is ready. This one will also require Satako library.

    The enchantment with which you can obtain mob chunks is called "Chunky". As requested, available only from librarians.

    I found other mods that allowed the crafting of spawners but it was way too simple imo and I would like a bit more of a challenge.

    Basic idea:
    Add an enchantment to the game that can only be obtainable from librarians.

    With that enchantment the mob you kill has a low percentage of dropping a chunk of its body (maybe the more "common" the mob is, the harder it is to get the chunk).

    Craft 9 of these chunks into a mob core. Sorround this mob core with 4 blocks of iron and 4 diamonds to get the mob spawner core.

    Then sorround that core with iron bars to get the corresponding spawner.


    The crafted spawner spawns less mobs than a normal one does but can be upgraded with the monsters drops and more spawners of the same kind:
    When you right-click the spawner it opens a GUI with a slot for the mob drops and extra spawners.

    For each stack of items you put in, the rate of mobs spawned will increase by 10% (max of 20 stacks).

    For each spawner you put in, the amount of mobs spawned will increase by 2 (max of 3).


    (Additional features:)

    -For additional challenge, make it so that each tier of mob spawner (animals: tier 1; skeleton, creeper, zombie, spider: tier 2; nether mob + enderman: tier 3, iron golem: tier 4) needs a block of metal beneath it to spawn mobs (tier 1: iron; tier 2: gold, tier 3: diamond, tier 4: beacon).

    -Add a stack of redstone to the spawners GUI to let it be redstone controlled.

    -Add a stack of glowstone dust to let it ignore light level.
