http://www.minecraft.net/ has also been experiencing some downtime as well. It's a problem with Mojang's servers. I can log on to a cracked server with no problem, but all premium servers are down if you're not already on.
So I updated my Minecraft server to 1.2.3, and for some reason, I can't connect on my home PC with localhost, or on my Mac with 192.168.1.68. It says that the server is up, but just sits at the "Logging in..." screen. I was curious if maybe WorldEdit and/or WorldGuard, which aren't in the RB versions yet, may have been the issue (They're in beta.), so I removed them but it still failed, so I just removed all my plugins entirely and tried Vanilla. Still nothing. Is anybody else having this problem with their servers? I've just downloaded the most recent RB and it hasn't fixed it.
Anybody need a builder? I'm good at pretty much everything except for making huge elf trees and man-made mountains. Mediocre but not braindead on the subject of redstone...I'm really good at castles, towns, boats, etc.
I can't use Hamachi, and if you seriously need Skype when you can just type what you want me to do, then please leave.
try this site too http://canyouseeme.org/
it will list your ip and you can check the port forwarding (need server on to test the port)
This helped, but didn't connect...? "Error: Connection Refused". I put in the right port (25565) and I port-forwarded already...the tutorial I used to port-forward (which was the only one that somewhat worked) told me not to use TCP, but UDP instead. Is it because of that?
I've tried setting up servers before but when I get to port-forwarding everything gets ****ed up.

Do you know any tutorials that can flawlessly tell you how to port-forward correctly? I'm dying.
I've been searching around YouTube and I can't seem to find out my IP. I know this sounds like I'm an idiot, but I've tried whatsmyip.org, seemyip.com, etc. but whenever other people try to get on my Bukkit server, they can't. I've tried both my cmd.exe ipconfig, as well as previously mentioned websites. I've even tried domain name hosting, to no avail. Can SOMEONE please help me with this? I'm going crazy.
Alright so this is one of my first large-scale builds. I only used circle templates on the corners of the courtyard, but the dirt circle was completely me...
This is just the courtyard, I plan to make a castle that surrounds it if there's room.
I also intend to recreate Central Command from Fullmetal Alchemist. I've seen it and it looks pretty capable of being built with squares.
This is only about halfway done btw, so it IS a work in progress.
ALSO: SUGGEST SOME LARGE-SCALE BUILDS. I WILL ATTEMPT TO DO THEM. IF I DO, I'LL EDIT A LINK TO IT IN THIS POST.

Any takers? I'm free for the next week or so.
