Hi everybody! I'm making this post because I am looking for either a small, mature server with dedicated players that is simply survival - it doesn't have to roleplay - or a small, mature roleplaying server. I have spent some time on medieval roleplay servers, but it doesn't have to be medieval. Basically, I have had enough of jumping from server to server, where each server has over 500 players, and griefing is very common. Thank you! "What business do you have here? Me: "Oh, sorry. Didn't realize that walking in to a city warranted being interrogated." Guard: "Look..." Me: "No - you look. I walk in to your city intending to spend my hard earned money on items in your city's stores - now get out of my way, and stay out of it." *stomps off*
- what do you answer / do
1) Your child is at home, hungry. There's no food for them to eat. You had no money, so out of desperation you decide to steal some bread from your local bakery. While sneaking out of his kitchen with the bread, the baker catches you red-handed Me: "I..I... *draw weapon" Baker: "Woah, easy there. Just.. take the bread and get out of my sight." Me: "Thank you. You have.. no idea how much this means to me.. and my child."
Baker: "I know the desperation to provide for ones family. Go now, and may the wind always be at you back"

Previous RP Experience: (Including other servers, or post by post experiences.): I don't really have a huge amount of RP experience, but I really grew to like it on the first, and only, server I went on. It was a small, dedicated server. It definitely had a different storyline compared to this server, but I really grew to enjoy roleplaying through the story. I really enjoyed it, and ever since than I have been searching for a RP server for a while now.
Why do you wish to join?: Another thing I noticed with roleplaying servers is that the people that hang out there are more... mature, than most people you would see on a crowded server. I also love the fact that you can get to know people (to an extent, obviously) on a smaller, more focused community. What can you bring to the server?: Despite my lack of experience with RP, I feel I can add and help not only with the server, but the help bring some new ideas (without being too overbearing) to the server.

I have light, dirty-blonde hair that lightens when I spend a lot of time in the sun. My hair is most often seen in a braid, and it falls to the middle of my back. I have wide, searching eyes. Although they often seem to change in colour slightly, they are hazel with turquoise-green flecks in them. I am not very tall, barely standing 5". I am very self-conscious about my height as it often enables me from doing things such as tree climbing or certain types of hunting. As for my body type, I am not an overly skinny person. I weigh in at about 115 pounds. Due to the fact that both of my parents were hunters and enjoyed being outdoors, most of my weight is healthy and strong muscle.
Personality: (Same as above): I can be a very stubborn person. I dislike taking orders from others, even if they are meant well. I am also very outgoing and prefer to jump into things head first before thinking. I enjoy taking risks, and the thrill of adventure. I hate being alone for long periods of time and crave socialization and companionship. My parents were both hunters, and enjoyed nature very much. I have sufficient aim with a bow and arrow, and I have perfected the art of stalking through the trees after wary prey. I have a very "joie de vivre" type of personality, and I see this whole "portal catastrophe" as a huge adventure. Lastly, due once again, to my parents and their primary proffession, I have a unique bond with certain animals, cats and wolves in particular. Before the catastrophe, I cared for lots of the forest animals. My wolf, Alastair, was rarely far from my side. One of the most bitter sweet things of going through the portal is the fact that I have no idea if Alastair made it through, or when.

She taught me everything I know about bow and arrow shooting, and often detested the quiet predictable lull of the tribe. So, of course, as soon as the "catastrophe" happened, my mother was one of the first to jump through the portal, my father with her. I was supposed to be right behind them, but stayed behind searching for Alastair, and was one of the last to make it through the portal. But enough on that. Before the catastrophe happened, I was engaged to be married to another young man named Brenuin. He was truly the love of my life, but he was a healer and stayed behind to heal those that had been injured. I feel deep regret and guilt for "leaving behind" my family, my fiancee and my dutiful follower. Now I am in a new world, with a fresh start. No more mistakes this time, I won't leave anyone behind this time. As I step out of the portal, I instinctively call for Alastair. When he doesn't appear, the memories come flooding back like a torrential waterfall. The regret, the love, the guilt, the laughter, the...unkown. I take one huge, shaky breath and step into this new place that now I must call "home."

Tell us a funny or interesting Minecraft experience you've had: I'm not particularily skilled with redstone, so when I build something with it, it takes me a long time. On my SP world, I decided to build a 3x3 redstone piston door. I was creating it outside, so I decided to place a fence around the area, so no creepers could blow up my work. As I was working on the wiring, I saw I needed to get more food from my main house, so I walked along the edge of the fence to get back to my house. As I was walking there, a creeper blew up part of the fence. So, I quickly ran back inside and grabbed more fences and food to fill in the hole. As I ran back to my wiring, to fill in the space in the fence, I heard a creeper behind me, who apparently had snuck in while I was getting more fences. Anyway, of course it blew up my entire 1 and a half hours of work. And that is why I never, ever, build anything redstone outside xD

Just recently, I've been learning a thing or two about redstone in my SP world (simple piston doors, hidden entranceway's, easy stuff) I tend to play with mods in my SP world, because I tend to find regular Minecraft a bit dull, except when I am RPing on a server. I'm not the best builder, but I am pretty articulate and precise about what I do build.

The character I created on that server was not someone particularly unique, (determined, stubborn, a huntress and an orphan) but I was surprised how much I enjoyed playing as a different person. It was a lot of fun. I met a lot of great people, that were actually mature, and I had a lot in common with.

You're running through the forest late at night, skeletons at your heels. You're running out of energy and you realize you won't make it back to your humble abode before the skeletons tear you apart. Suddenly, a bright light is seen through a gap between tree branches, and you dash for it. You spot a small, wood cabin and dive through the door, slamming it shut behind you. You look around the cabin, and see a small, unlocked chest. There is a sign above the door "Welcome to Hyperion's Humble Home".What do you do? H... h..hello? I stammer, nervously glancing around the rickety cabin. I tentatively take a step forward, towards the chest. Through my exhaustion at running away from the skeletons demands that I sleep, hunger still gnaws in my belly. Cautiously, I lift the lid on the chest and remove 3 cooked pork chops. I eat them hungrily, wolfing down every last scrap. Now that my hunger was satisfied, my exhaustion closed in, and I fell asleep where I stood, huddled in front of the chest.
Well.. that just about does it! If their is anything else I should add, please let me know.
Excellent idea. My only suggestion would be that Riverclan cats are hardy, like Thunderclan... just a suggestion. Great mod, I am so happy someone decided to take this up! AS soon as this is out, I will be one of the first ones to download it.
