posted a message on "Pixel Blocks"?

Yeah, this isn't feasibly possible. What you want to do is essentially increase the block grid, which while would be great in theory, it would terribly lag. Chunks would go from 16x16 blocks to 256x256 blocks. The only way it cannot lag is if you make variants of every single combination and that will head into the billions, if not the millions. All for what, decoration? I do appreciate decoration, but when the decoration can lag the game on older computers, I wouldn't appreciate that kind of decoration.

    Hard to Get =/= Balance

It is still highly unbalanced because full on flight neglects the need for building ladders and such and unfair PVP (Staying in the air to fight. At least with tiers, you can still beat a diamond armored player with iron armor and swords, as enchants, potions, etc exist) as you can essentially only use arrows to fight back.

posted a message on Suggestion for a new block with a unique "property"
    Quote from BartinTheEpic»

Okay, and in a way minecarts are not very useful because we can move our person from one point in space to another by combined presses of the WASD keys ... surely, what you posted was not meant to be taken as a real "critique?" -__-

But with minecarts and other transportation, it is significantly faster than just walking. While this block is definitely faster for raw transportation, you still need to:

    1. Somehow get the block from X to Y. How do we even get the block at Y in The End? Do you need a second one? You haven't said anything about that.
    2. You still have to break the block then place it.

And do not forget, with inventories, you can easily transport not just six blocks, but stacks of blocks. Combine that, with Nether portal travel to the Overworld's The End portal, and a swift horse with swiftness, you have a way to transport blocks that is still significantly better in the long run, even though it may be slower.

This is not very useful. We can already move blocks with our inventories by breaking it and putting it in the inventory.

As long as Peaceful, Easy, Normal, and Hard are presets, then why not? The only problem is how it would fit well with the Customized world option rather than normal survival.

posted a message on Password Locking Worlds

You can already technically do this-

    1. Make a new profle.
    2. Make sure it is running the same version, mods, etc.
    3. Choose a different directory.
    4. Copy over worlds that they play on.

Or you could...you know...make backups, which don't take that long.

    1. Make a backups folder somewhere.
    2. Navigate to your desired Minecraft directory- on Windows, press the Windows key and R at the same time and type in "appdata" (Without the quotes), go into Roaming, then go into .minecraft. Note that this is only the default directory.
    3. Go into Saves.
    4. Copy and paste your worlds into the backup folders- do not cut and paste or make a shortcut.

All of that takes a minute or two, depending on how big your worlds are.

If this is also for servers, then sure, why not? It would be helpful. But for single player, you don't need to be a tech wiz to figure out how to make backups or a new profile.

posted a message on Can we Remove the Effect Arrows?
    Quote from AsiansWithAxes»

What I mean is if your intentions were to aid/help someone, you'd hurt them in the proccess. Ie; Your Friend is low in hearts and he is being chased by someone. You shoot a potion of speed at him. You leave him at low hearts, open to death via: Fall damage, Mobs and the environment in general. Even worse you'd kill him. Other thing, most servers disable PVP with your Team mates so you'd not even be able to hit them in the first place.
PS; negative potions are meant to hurt other players/mobs and postive potions are meant to heal you and others. You're not meant to hurt your self with negative effects :)

...I said regular- you know, the ones that you can't throw?

posted a message on Can we Remove the Effect Arrows?
    Quote from AsiansWithAxes»

I SUPPORT SUPPORT SUPPORT SOOO MUCH,

I was thinking about this yesterday. It's Useless!

    Negative effected arrows = Great

    Positive effected arrowss = -_-

The only positive effect arrows I find okay is the instant Health and regeneration ones since you'd damage undead mobs and if you wanted to heal your friend (Which i find is so stupid) , you'd hit them, which would damage em for a bit and then heal then above their original health by a bit. But the potion of Leaping and ect are sooo dumb.

If people or so sensitive and are gonna cry about losing stupid arrows, then (and is my final opinion) :

Remove the positive effect arrows apart from regeneration and instant health from the creative menu. The arrows are still in the game but can only be accessed via commands.

So wait, positive effect arrows are useless since arrows only hurt? This is like saying regular negative potions are useless since they only harm you.

No Support; There is no reason to remove negative arrows.

I wouldn't mind vanilla 3D models if they were optional, but they do not make graphics more realistic. Animations are adequate for now, but I would like bendable arms and legs. But anyways, this is vague.

posted a message on A Beta Version With Bug Fixes and Inventory Improvements

So wait, you want Mojang to update older versions? No company does that- maintaining different versions, sure, but updating older ones, no. Besides- how would they choose which features get added in? Good is subjective, not objective.

We DON'T need different colors of every freaking block

    I actually want MORE FEATURES.

    Not this garbage.

LADDERS ARE FINE THE WAY THEY ARE. NO SUPPORT.

We don't need wool or stained clay, but yet, here they are. It makes sense for wood because wood has different variants. So wait, this can't be added because you want more features? Why not both? That is an invalid way to criticize something. Actually come up with a valid reason other than "Something else should be added, not this garbage".
