    And I have it at about 1/3 chance of Parabuzzies dropping their shells. Think I should put it to 1/2 everyone?

    And yeah, having rare variations of Parabuzzies was a plan from the beginning. I might be able to do it soon, I think.

    Koopa Bros. huh? I love them as well, and you do have some interesting ideas for them all. For one thing though I have no idea how to do projectiles, so that would be something. And to be honest, they're mobs that I don't see fitting in Minecraft. They're aggressive minions from the Koopa Troop that work for Bowser, while the mobs I'm making are sort of.. Well the could be considered neutral, or wild creatures even if they also work for him. I'm probably being a lil' too tied to retarded or nonexistent story elements, but I hope you understand.     I was definitely thinking the same idea from the very beginning! Somehow they are hidden, maybe as a wild flower, but when you get close.. Snap! They're model doesn't seem too difficult, and they are fitting of Minecraft.

    Sure, you can request all you'd like. Currently I'm MAYBE considering working on Goombas.. But I want to fix some bugs or just tweaks in general with Parabuzzies and Bob-ombs first.

    I'd love to hear ideas about some of the mobs. For example, Goombas could probably spawn near other mushrooms and uh... *Ran out of ideas* ...

    Koopa Troopas. I love them. Probably one of my more favorite Super Mario enemies, but for some reason I have a hard time imagining them in Minecraft. Standing turtles? And for some reason, I don't know why, but I don't really like the idea of "Insert-item-here armor" sets or tools. It's sort of.. I guess unoriginal? That's why I made Parabuzzy shells craft into Bob-ombs instead of armor/tools. Weapons sound a bit more more nice though.

    Dry Bones? I'm liking the sound of that. Maybe only spawning in dark, underground caves? They wouldn't be exactly like Koopa Troopas in that they are undead, and won't be standing up straight. Sort of leaning forward just like this picture. I was thinking they should be fire/lava retardant, just like most undead, bone creatures seem to be in games, but I like the idea of the being slow moving to counter their invincibility. Their model though.. Looks tough. Real tough. But I'm liking this mob idea.

    The download link seems to be working OK. Sure you don't have any ad blockers and such?

    Updated Parabuzzies to v0.7 :Diamond:

    They now follow, and behave a bit more the way I imagined when attacking in swarms. Never attack one when others are around! Tamed or not!

    Note!
    Also, I changed the files. mod_ParaBuzzy and mod_ParaBuzzyShell have now been merged into mod_8BitMobs. So delete those old files!

    A good model would be a cube-rounded (like what you did with the Bob-omb) version of this:



    They'd hit the player like any mob, but to kill them you must jump on their head. They only spawn on the surface.


    a cube sort of worked for Bob-ombs because they are just plain, perfect spheres. Goombas are.. Sort of like abstract blobs, their heads anyway.

    I might consider them at another time, just for fun as a plain ol' enemy. Right now I'd like to try for mobs with more potential to be interesting, so I learn some awesome tricks for future mobs.

    Actually, now that I've been thinking of it for a bit, their model does seem possible.. A good model I mean. Not just any model.

    If you guys can convince me with some good ideas (not stuff like jumping on them, every Mario enemy has that) about Goombas, I may consider making them. :smile.gif:

    I know I said I wouldn't do Bob-ombs, but some gents in the IRC convinced me otherwise haha.. They won't be a naturally occurring mob though. You know those Parabuzzy shells? They're going to have a use now.. *wink*

    Also, if someone knows where/how I can get Bob-omb sound effects I'd greatly appreciate the info. :smile.gif:

    Or even how to animate that key to constantly spin, haha..
