Here's a tip: Show, don't tell! Texturing is a Visual medium. We want to see what you're doing, not be told. Many ideas that look good in print are horrible in practice, and vice-versa.
Announcement threads are pretty pointless, and not well received around here for exactly that reason. I strongly suggest you rethink what your purpose is in posting here.
