well it was posted almost a week ago and he said he would have a download and a video tomorrow which i assume was posted a week ago but if he edited that in later than i'm sorry for yelling
I apologize for the long wait, school started up ect. Pictures are up. Tell me what you think. Trying to work out the error in the DMR, shoots arrows...will fix asap.
What I think can really help this mod stand out instead of becoming "just another content mod" would be to possibly focus on make the armor system deep. Think of the Armory in Halo:Reach and all the things available there. Instead of just crafting four SPARTAN armor pieces with very simple vanilla-like armor recipes, why not try to make armor components like in the Armory in Reach, then have those crafted into armor pieces? They could have upgrade slots in the chest for all the armor pack abilities (sprint, evade, etc.).
Just an idea to throw out there, but given the volume of options for SPARTAN armor in Reach, I think it'd be a great idea to try to transfer those options and make armor crafting really fun.
Here's the best link I could find to the armor info, you can see there's a lot of possibilities:

Thank you so much. I was running short on ideas. I will try to do this today, a picture will be up when i finish. But just one question. Do you want me to take out sprinting? So you can only sprint when you have the upgrade? or have both? Also i have crafted the original MarkVI Helmet using a visor that you make before the actual helmet.
Don't take out sprinting, make the player sprint even faster with a sprint upgrade. Probably the hardest upgrade for you to make would be the drop shield, but I think all the others are pretty doable.
The visor sounds neat! And just for now, you don't have to worry so much about having each part necessarily be stronger or weaker than others. For now, I'd simply suggest making armors customizable for customization's sake, then work on giving sub-components armor bonuses or other perks.

Good luck! Hopefully it's not too difficult, just might take you some time having to make all the armor piece coding and textures and then make sure each specific piece knows which other sub-components it can go with.
Maybe you could make it very difficult to make a basic SPARTAN suit, then each armor piece has upgrade slots? There's really a lot you can do with making armors more fun and unique to create as opposed to the same old boring vanilla recipes and useage. Perhaps make it so that the suits are indestructible per se, but need to be charged, but the upgrades can lose durability and will need to eventually be replaced outright.
I know I'm throwing a lot of ideas at you and the possibilities are getting big, so one last thing I'll add: enjoy the coding, man! I imagine some of this might be a bit too complex for you right now, and the most important part is that you enjoy what you're doing and producing. If something is too complex or too long to do right now, simply add it to the list and think of a plan for eventually making it to that level of complexity as you go along.

I can do all of what your saying. It will just take time. I understand java and i love your input. I mentioned you in the video i just made. Uploading video and mod in about 30 minutes!
Maybe you could add some vehicles like the ghost and mongoose and add a seperate HUD for them to display fuel cells used to power covenant vehicles and gasoline used to power UNSC vehicles. You could also add a boost ability with its own meter
I dont know if you guys have seen my comments, but I no longer have the time to upkeep this mod.

I will try my best.
