So my computer has 8 gb of ram and I have 5 - 6 ram available at all times.
alright so i know Xmx means max memory you want to allocate and Xms means minimum.
I save this as the profile and then when I click play, this happens.
I check over my task manager and everything, I still have 4 ~ 5 gb of ram left.
Here's the dev. console.
I've researched a lot, but still nothing. Anyone?
Re-updating java does not help, sadly. And yes, to 64 bit.
edit: I can allocate 912 mb and no more and only less.
If you look at your executable, it's going to 'Program Files (x86)', which is 32-bit Program Files, and therefore 32-bit Java, which can't use 2GB of RAM. You can probably just untick the box next to 'Executable' as it shouldn't really be required, but if it still encounters an error, ensure in the executable box it is instead:
