Unfortunately I am developing RSI in my mousing hand. Every time I put my hand into the mouse posture, I get this subtle pain that gets worse over time. I have three computers (laptop & stand-alone at home, one at work), and I'm currently trying to eliminate mice completely from my computing life. They've become horrible, horrible little machines for me.
Got a touchpad so far, am looking at the vertical mouse and other more expensive options as well. The touchpad isn't particularly good for minecraft, as left/right-clicking is too similar to the mouse for my hand to deal with.
But I already have a logitech controller, and it seems logical that a game like Minecraft should work with one (I frankly don't know why that's not an option in the game as-sold). So it's pretty legitimate to have no interest in continuing with keyboard/mouse.
I am frustrated here, It's not working. I don't see a programming tab nor a virtual controller tab...
there is a 'programming items' thing to which I drag the Minecraft group, but i dont see where im supposed to drag minecraft PS3 mouse to and aaagh my head is just boiling right now I've tried it 20 different ways..
A Newcomer to commentating. Mine aren't top notch yet, but I think I do a pretty good jeb. Sometimes my vides are jonk and a carn fest. My name isn't Kris or Marc IRL, it's Top Secret. I had a few YT accounts b4, but they were junk. That is all.
I've got the whole thing set up, working great, EXCEPT for one thing.
The switch items thing. It uses the mouse wheel, and the virtual machine seems to only have two buttons registered (left and right click).
I don't want someone to do this for me, what I'd like is to know how to create mouse outputs? I can see the mouse wheel function, but when I add it it will not attach to the input function (like L2 or L1).
I'd like it to use L1 and mouse wheel negative and L2 as mouse wheel positive.
Can anyone help me with this?
Nice one. Didn't know PS3 pads where supported n OSX.
Those of you who want to use their PS3 controllers on a Windows computer should head over to http://www.motioninjoy.com/ to get windows drivers. You can easily create profiles in the driver itself to map keyboard keys to the PS3 pad.
how exactly would i do that? i have my ps3 controller hooked in by usb right now to my computer, and it's not registering with motioninjoy.
HEY EVERYONE I found a open souce program for mac it's just like joytokeypad/ControllerMate but it doesn't rip you off and want you to pay 25 dollars tell me if it works for your mac I have no idea since I own a windows computer http://abstractable.net/enjoy/ it's called enjoy from what I can tell it's easy to setup like joytokey and use Motionjoy not sure if motionjoy works for mac though but I know it worked fine for windows with Motionjoy and joytokey

I don't have a tab that says "Virtual mouse" and when I try to play, it lets me move around, but I can't look anywhere or do anything except break blocks.
Help, I've downloaded and purchase the full version of ControllerMate, I've also downloaded the preset PS3 controls and everything is working EXCEPT for not been able to Walk. Agian I can pick and choose items, do a 360 view, Fly, Bring myself down from flying, but I can not make the Nob to the left move my character.
I'm using the latest version of ControllerMate 4.6.2 (which I might add dose not show the Virtual Controller tab)

A reason to find desert wells, make hasty crossings, & build stone firepits to set wood alight in the snow.

Any help, or more specific instructions? Thanks
