Hi so when I open up Minecraft the home screen is fine but when I open up a world it is very laggy and takes about 20 minutes to settle down also my computer runs on 4 GB ram and a solid state drive if that helps.
Any suggestions / ides would be much appreciated. Thanks
To argue on this point. Minecraft does not even need that much ram. The minimum to play Minecraft "Vanilla" at a fine fps is 2.
You told us your ram and that you have an SSD. Which is to two nice types of equipment. But we need more information than that. As Minecraft does not depend much on the ram and SSD. But still are important!
- 4 GB is recommended/Enough to play Minecraft
- So is the SSD. I mean, Minecraft runs on HDD Without a problem. Since it's not a very big game, surely not graphical.
But! What is your Graphics card and CPU? And any other pieces you could name.
If you do not know them. Giving the brand and model number of your computer/laptop could do. I can search for you.
The OS also remains important. I mean, 7 and up and you are fine. Windows Vista/XP and that... Risky!
OK so firstly it is a single player world not online and I run windows 10 on amd graphics I think that is what it is called and I'm not sure about the cpu

Need more ram.
What operating system?
Any other programs running in the background? Web Browsers?
Any mods?
Using any custom JVM arguments?
