Hello,
So I'm having trouble connecting to Minecraft realms or any other servers for some reason. It's only happening on the computer that I'm using for Minecraft 1.8.8, 1.8.9, and possibly some other older versions. It started happening a few days ago, and I can't think of anything that would have caused it. I don't think it has anything to do with the Minecraft account that I'm using, because I've tried another one which works on another computer. When I go on a server or realms, it seems to load for a moment, but then I get disconnected. I get different error messages when it happens, a few of them are:
Internal Exception: Java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remove host
[Proxy] Lost connection to server.
It also occasionally only says "Disconnected" for realms. I've tried the steps in as well as restarting the computer and the internet, but so far it doesn't seem to have done anything. Does anyone know what may be wrong and how to fix it?
Thanks

This computer uses Norton 360

That's strange. I've tried disabling everything on Norton (that I could find) and running Minecraft, but the same thing is happening. Does this mean that it might be something other than Norton, or would it still be Norton?

Okay, thank you!

Update: Sorry for posting to this after it's been dead for a while, but I found a fix in case anyone else was having the same problem. I had a resource pack on that had a custom language for Minecraft. Apparently there is a bug where if you have a custom language running, then you can't connect to any servers, including realms.
