My game was working just fine until today when my laptop over heated and shut down while I was playing the game, when I restarted my laptop and tried loading the game again,I started getting this message when I try loading my game does anyone know what it means and why its doing this all of a sudden? I have no idea what any of this even means. I dont use mods of any kind because i dont know anything about them and dont trust them. I tried uninstalling and re installing the game and i still get this.

i had to remove the game entirely from my laptop and reinstall it, it seems to be working now....time to start everything all over again...but isnt that the fun of minecraft...starting over and over again building and rebuilding...dig dig dig lol
One thing though, if this ever happens again you can take the saves out of the .minecraft folder, put them somewhere else, and then put them back when you re-install it.

Don't be surprised if one day I take over the front page of the Forum Games, and then disappear for months at a time. It happens.

Update Java
Java is updated to the latest version, and I'm still getting this error message.

I'm glad you managed to resolve it.

I was going to put a list of words of wisdom here, but I think I'll put this here instead
All you needed to do was delete one single file: %appdata%/.minecraft/usercache.json
