Hey, I know minecraft classic is obsolete, and I have the full version, but I wanted to play the old minecraft classic multiplayer that was on minecraft.net. I know that you can play minecraft classic singleplayer on the new launcher by selecting "old-alpha c0.30_01c", but that is singleplayer. Also, if I go to minecraft.net/classic it loads and then just stays on "switching applet"
I know it IS possible to play multiplayer, because the server list says there's people on them. However, neither the website or the launcher will work. If anyone has an idea for either of these methods that would be awesome and you would get infinite s
By the way, I am on PC and I saw a couple mac tutorials that use command+shift. Is there a pc equivalent of this?
Thanks ,

EDIT:
I have java 7 installed. Could that affect it? And if it does, how can I downgrade?
Do you have the latest update of Java? If so, you probably need to downgrade to the appropriate version for the current Minecraft Classic version. I don't think there is any way to find that out, and there's probably not an equivalent of COMMAND+SHIFT.
