minecraft.net could be blocked by the firewall, or your internet connection is not working. check both.

i accidentally deleted all of my minecraft files trying to re-start it. I think they were corrupted, but i can't get them back now. I need to re-install minecraft. How do i do that?
When you open it, it will give you multiple options, press "I accept" then select "Scan and save to a log file".
After a while it will give you a text file, open that, copy all the text, copy that over to http://pastebin.com/ , hit "Submit" and give us the URL it takes you to.
ESET Security has a feature that interferes with minecraft's ability to connect to minecraft.net. First, open the advanced setup and follow this diagram: http://kb.eset.com/l...3076FIG1-3C.png
Then, try to login to minecraft. ESET will open a window asking what to do, press EXCLUDE.
If it does not work, then go back and select "Do not scan".
I have a similar problem and this is from my minecraft error log: http://pastebin.com/TYQA6tx7

Hi,
You absolutely do have something blocking the connection.
Most-likely an antivirus or a firewall.
Please download and run this program.
When you open it, it will give you multiple options, press "I accept" then select "Scan and save to a log file".
After a while it will give you a text file, open that, copy all the text, copy that over to http://pastebin.com/ , hit "Submit" and give us the URL it takes you to.
Hi,
Please try to disable and or uninstall McAfee.
Hi,
In your case you should uninstall / disable AVG and McAfee.
Hi,
You have ESET which is causing this.
Please do the following:
ESET Security has a feature that interferes with minecraft's ability to connect to minecraft.net. First, open the advanced setup and follow this diagram: http://kb.eset.com/l...3076FIG1-3C.png
Then, try to login to minecraft. ESET will open a window asking what to do, press EXCLUDE.

I have mac os X v 10.6.8 and java version v 1.6.0_51.
I have tryed it on another network, and on an administrator user.
I can't find my firewall and can't get permission no matter what.
