So my little brother and I wanted to play a LAN world together. He doesn't yet have an actual Account cause he can't afford to buy MC yet. I already have it and have been playing for a while. Today I went to open one of my Single Player worlds to him but he couldn't join. He kept getting an "End of stream" error so he decided he'd open one up for me.
Because he doesn't have an actual account yet he plays offline. So, he opened one up and I tried to join it. I got this error message.
I googled it trying to find a way to fix it but the problems never mentioned anything about LAN servers and so I decided to make my own thread seeing if anyone has any advice. Both of our Minecrafts are updated and our Java is also updated. We both use PCs and the only real difference is he runs Windows 8 and I run Windows 7, also he doesn't have an Acc. but I do.
Thanks for any help you are able to give.
Please note that people without a minecraft account, and are still able to play, are using illegal, cracked copies, and you will suffer consequences and errors that arise from it. I see no reason to help you, as that would be supporting your brother using a cracked account.
