Hi everyone,i've been playing minecraft from years, but i have just noticed that after a little time i play (using F3 to see the allocated memory) i see that i am using the 100% of it , and every time the percent of usage comes to 100% minecraft blocks for 0.5 secs.
I have 4 gb of ram, the methods i've tried until now are:
-Going on control panel and java directory with the xms or xmx code or something like that that i found on some forums. Didn't work.
-Doing a .bat with that source code and start minecraft from that.Didn't work.
So the point is that i've tried with these 2 methods, but in game with f3 allocated memory was always freakin 285MB!
How can i increase the memory? I am quite sure that i've done everything right with the previous two methods but the allocated memory didn't change;i am also quite sure the problem is every 5 seconds the memory usage comes to 100% and then after 0.5 sec of block it go again to 90%,then again to 100% and that's it.
Hope you can help me guys,i've really tried anything,i have the latest java version 64 bit , and if u want i can also post some screens.
Sorry for my bad english i am from italy
Also i have no mods installed and when the allocated memory is under 95 % it goes to 80 fps then at 95-100% it drops really bad
I am not running out of ram,but i am using the absolutely max of it,probably cause of my processor, anyway if i had more ram i wouldn't use 100% and the game wouldn't block. That's what i think and anyway thank you
