Hi, so i am struggleing to find a name for the 5 donator ranks
$10
$20
$35
$55
$80
i was thinking, lapis, gold, diamond, obsidian, bedrock?
Also i cant decide to either when someone donates, they get their items once, through buildecraft, or they get the command /kit to get the items and multiple times.
If to go through kit, how long will be kit cool down?
I know this is a bit late, but here's an idea for the kit question, if you're using essentials, that is:
For permissions, each rank gets:
essentials.kit
But successively higher ranks get (for example):
essentials.kits.stonetools
essentials.kits.irontools
essentials.kits.diamondtools
When configuring the kits themselves, you can easily set a cool down... on my server, it is set to 86400 (in seconds), so that people can only use their kit once a day. The file with which you can customize kits is config.yml in the essentials plugin folder (I think).
Although a long time has past since your original post, hopefully you, or someone else, can benefit from this.
Guys! Why use the long hard to make essential kits when easykits works ten times better! I mean come on guys.. you put the items in your Inventory do /kit create [name] then give the players perm for it then your done! Hope this helped!

Completely depends on how you design it. When someone gets a rank, are you designing it where they must stay at that rank? Can they change once they donate? Can they donate again to get a different rank? Do ranks stack? Is it desirable or beneficial to buy all the ranks? Do you bundle items/cash/xp with ranks or provide them a separate items to acquire or a combination?
You could setup ranks that have access to donor-level kits that allow running them once an hour / day / week / month or just once.
You could even setup subscriptions where they get access to kits for a specific amount of time such as access to do "/repair hand" or "/repair all"
It all depends on how you want to set it up. This can be a grueling chore and took me quite a while at the beginning to design but not very long to implement once I knew what I wanted.

Problem with admin, is that it is a staff rank, not donator

For example, pink is for $10 donations and red is for $20. Higher colored people can have different perks, etc.

I would recommend trying to make it match your server in some way.
On my server, I configured the ranks based on ancient peoples:
* Caveman
* Nomad
* Gladiator
* Roman
* Persian
* Mongolian
* etc.

Because if he is already using essentials, there is no reason to add another plugin to burden the server if it is not absolutely necessary.
