well first of all you dont have a command to ban someone... use mcbans or essentials or commandbook
This is false, bukkit comes with a command to ban by default. Mind posting the error you are getting? It may be you've assigned them with a ban.exempt permission.
My Idea would be to try and reinstall the plugin that you are using to do banning with, probably essentials. Check that out, then reinstall it, but backup your configs, your plugin could be broken.

I tried that. Didnt work. It makes me mad. I can't do anything but mute and jail. And i really need to ban someone
