People tailor bat files to their use, it is like a suit, there is a general outline, and then it is fitted to what you want and need. What we provide are the outlines, from there, people change theirs. Like i just use java instead of paths to the jre since I know it works on my machine. Some people can't do that so that is where other bat files are used. It is all about the machine.
Please help me with my run.bat I'm on a 64 bit Windows with 32 bit java and I'm using this: java -7
java -Xmx1G -Xms1G -jar craftbukkit-1.1-R1.jar
pause I get the error: 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file.
for 32 bitMake sure your bukkit jar file is named "BUKKIT.jar" when you use this.
I tried that it finally didnt say it couldnt find it in the specified folder but now it says "Unable to access jarfile 'BUKKIT.jar"
Was I supposed to rename the craftbukkit or the RUN.bat
Hey Everyone! If you guys are having the problem with the minecraft bukkit.bat help well thats why im here!!!! First of all you have to know if you have a 32 Bit or 64 Bit.
For a 32 Bit
@ECHO OFF
SET BINDIR=%~dp0
CD /D "%BINDIR%"
"%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xincgc -Xmx1G -jar BUKKIT.jar
PAUSE
You can change the jre7 to whatever java version you have that is what you need to put but i think if you have to latest version its the best way!!!!
For a 64 Bit
@ECHO OFF
SET BINDIR=%~dp0
CD /D "%BINDIR%"
"%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xincgc -Xmx1G -jar BUKKIT.jar
PAUSE
I Hope This Helped All of you guys!!! If it did work let me know and if it didn't let me know too!
I have tried every code possible on this side of the moon..
I have a 64 Bit with Windows 7. I'm not sure if my path is set up correctly or not because every time to try to run the batch file, it gives me a window error that says "Windows cannot find "C:\Users|first and last name\Desktop\Newfolder\run.bat.' Make sure you typed the name
correctly and try again.
Also this is what I have for the bat file:
@ECHO OFF
SET BINDIR=%~dp0
CD /D "%BINDIR%"
"%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xincgc -Xmx1G -jar craftbukkit-1.7.10.jar
PAUSE
I keep getting "no main attribute, in craftbukkit.jar" on ALL yes ALL of the codes above even my own that has worked on all other versions. Please help

Btw, I don't use bukkit.jar for my 1.8. Server. I'm using spigot.
