I was just wondering if someone could post a link to where do download the Bukkit Server 1.0.0 update thing. I run a Bukkit server, and with the new update I was wondering if they have released it yet.
They have not release it yet. It usually takes several days or weeks after a major update before they release a compatible Bukkit version. http://bukkit.org/ is where you want to check for updates.
Only once has it taken days and I don't think it's ever taken weeks, that's far from "usually", but this is a big release I wouldn't expect one tonight, I think a fair estimate would be before Monday. :wink.gif:
Edit: But yeah keep an eye on Twitter or Bukkits home page, they'll post when it's available.
It will probably be a while before a Bukkit recommended build for 1.0.0 is released. However, you should check in every few hours at http://ci.bukkit.org/builds, there will probably be a bunch of development builds before a recommended build comes out. Keep checking there to see if a dev build comes out. They can be pretty buggy though, and they might screw some stuff up, though nothing like that ever happened to me when I used dev builds.
I was at the Bukkit panel at MineCon earlier tonight and the first question in the Q&A was "When with a 1.0 compatible version be out?" and the answer was "When it's ready." I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. They said mojang did something the obfuscation which means it's going to likely take awhile.
edit: All four of the lead devs are here in Vegas so there probably won't be any (major at least) progress until next week sometime.

They also reported that they finished stage two of the build tonight, and when asked how many stages there are, the response was 3. Source - http://twitter.com/#!/craftbukkit
While that doesn't mean it will be done tomorrow for sure, it's a good sign that they are doing their best to get it done quickly for everyone.
Watch that because that's where it gets uploaded first.

I can do 230 pull up's and have walked 17.3 km's in under 10s through bush and fire breaks in the 45 degree heat, uphill in the snow in my bare feet. I also wrestle bears, tigers, lions and giraffes every day on my way to work. I was also the one who emancipated the slaves in 1863. that's the extent of my physicality.
Someone modded the 1.9PRE5 from bukkit, to make it compatible with Minecraft 1.0

The owner of that website isn't me and isn't the maker either.
Found the link on the bukkit-forums but it was censored by the moderators a few minutes later, because of:
"Please do not link to builds that are not on ci.bukkit.org."
So, use the link on your own risk :tongue.gif:
This does work, though terribly unstable. Tried it on my server.
My advice, though, is to wait for the official bukkit release for 1.0, keep looking at the craftbukkit builds, at ci.bukkit.org
All of the dev builds are working fine for me. The plugins are the only things that need to be watched on since some are not working as well. Essentials is one.

You're at minecon, went to their panel even, and you don't know that they're working on it live...at minecon?

Where can I download said dev version?
Last successful build
Yes there is but it's not the recommended build
Ok, now I have a file called bukkit.yml. What do I do with it?
