Yes. When I try to run CraftBukkit it says:
Windows cannot find 'C:/Users/Owner/Desktop/craftbukkit_installer_java1.6_v3'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
Also, when I download Craftbukkit 1.7, It dosent show up. Ive tried 4 times and made sure it was on my desktop, but it never showed up. Please Help!
If it's not on your desktop, it would make sense Windows cannot find it. Most browsers by default download to the downloads folder (there's a certain elegance to that, huh?) Go to Windows menu, go to Documents, look on left side for Downloads. See if that's where your missing installer is.
Assuming based on your path that you run Windows 7...
Craftbukkit for Java 1.6 dosent work when I run. And Craftbukkit for 1.7 doesnt show up on my desktop even when I make sure to download it there. And after I checked the downloads folder, it wasnt in there.
JAVA 7 IS A MUST
First get craftbukkit, theres 2 ways to get it. One, download the craftbukkit.jar from bukkit.org and follow the installation instructions.
Link Here: http://wiki.bukkit.o...ing_up_a_server
After you do one of those and install craftbukkit sucessfully download PermissionEX from http://dev.bukkit.or.../permissionsex/
On the side there should be downloads, click the top one for the latest version.
Now Pex is hard to configure but a EASY way to make a Pex file is http://pex.sylvcraft.com/ It is a easy way to make a Pex file.
Your probably saying WTF is a node?? A node is a permission that pex uses. Now most servers use a plugin called essentials found here http://dev.bukkit.or...ods/essentials/ then google the nodes
