I recently created a new Minecraft server using Bukkit. Hoping to install the Towny plugin on it, I downloaded it, dropped it into my plugins folder, and hoped for the best. But no! When I ran the server once again, it didn't work -- it simply returned "unknown command" in my console. What do I have to do to effectively install Towny once and for all?
EDIT: I had put the towny file in the wrong place, so I righted my wrongs and tried again. This time, when I restarted the server, it gave me some exceptions -- like InvalidPluginException. It also says, "FileNotFoundException -- could not find plugin.yml". So yeah.
Dude when you add plugin's first make shure that the PLUGINS folder is in the bin folder.
Second when you add plugins open rename and remove the word .jar from the plugin ect: towny.jar : towny.(delete the . too)
Third name your plugins: Plugin1,Plugin2,Plugin3 and ...
