Hello I am trying to run a 1.7.10 server with my friends and wanting to use about 80 mods that work together and I can run my .jar file and connect to my server with the mods working but not enough ram. However I searched I could do a .bat file which I did and it works with my .jar it is the black cmd looking screen popup and the .jar server but the server wont load the mods and the server wont load? Do I just run the server with the .jar instead of the .bat then? Please help
So I should rename my .jar file the one that launches minecraft to something like minecraft1.7.10.jar and edit the .bat file to launch it minecraft1.7.10.jar?
Thank you again for helping me really appreciate it, but how should I name my forge jar? It is just forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1614-1.7.10-universal should I rename it to something else or do I copy and paste that into my .bat file for java -Xms3G -Xmx3G -jar minecraft_server.1.7.10.jar -o true
pause
Ok I renamed them and the .bat is just wanting to close after it starts it says it cannot find my forge.jar even though they are the same name as each other. this is my forge .jar name=forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1614-1.7.10-universal.jar This is my .bat=java -Xms3G -Xmx3G -jar forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1614-1.7.10-universal.jar -o true
pause
This is way harder than it should be. Your batch file is saying the forge jar isn't there so you must have not named it exactly what you have in the batch file. That name is a crazy mess, just rename the forge jar to forge.jar and edit the batch appropriately. You likely have a dot or dash or something different between the batch and the actual file; which is why it's better to just avoid crazy names like that and keep it simple.
I saw the problem as soon as I saw your file list, lol. Your forge.jar is actually forge.jar.jar. Your OS hides the extension by default. Notice how the stock Minecraft server jar is just "minecraft_server.1.7.10"? No .jar, because the OS hides that. Since you see the .jar for forge, it's duplicated. Right click it, hit rename and type "forge" and hit enter.
PS: I just got to the end of the video. You said "I've got memory" then you shown us your C: in My Computer. That's not memory, that's hard drive space.

adjust it to start your forge jar also don't forget to add the rest of your configuration
Do you mean adjust it by naming it the same as my .jar file? If so I have done that https://gyazo.com/45a1a38305545e2c5d177106810b13bd

no both files should have different names but your startup script needs to start your forge file

there are two jars the base minecraft jar and then the forge jar, you need the startup script to start the forge jar

you can name them anything it dont matter just the as long as the forge jar is being started via the startup script

can you give paste bins of the logs etc and screen shot of the files?
This is when I start my forge.jar when it does load the mods and server correctly https://paste.ubuntu.com/23784341/
Here is when I start the .bat first though https://gyazo.com/236cce0c0e0c08e8191d84a4a536f132 I was just wanting to add more ram to my server to run a bit smoother for my friends and I
Below i have a capture of my server folder and here is my BAT file:
java -Xmx2048M -Xms1024M -jar Server.jar nogui
PAUSE
Feel Free to use it and see if it works
