Pretty simple question here, I need old server software so that I can host an old challenge map of mine to give it a multiplayer fix. It was terribly flawed in SMP.
It was made back in 1.4.7 and is completely a Minecraft 1.4 map.
I need to test and fix it it in old multiplayer because all the versions that come after it break the map, and I want to keep all versions of the map native to their original update. It's an old map that still has a problem when people try to play it with friends.
That stuff above was only an explanation of why I need it. Put simply, I just need to get server software for Minecraft 1.4.7.
Or alternatively, would it be possible to host a Lan game using MC 1.4.7 and making it available with Hamachi? Because I did that yesterday in 1.7.9.
Thanks.

So I was working on this really cool resource pack a while ago, but bad progress nonwithstanding, I think I found something much better... I'm probably gonna never release another custom Minecraft map.Until we meet again...
Will command blocks still work? That part's very important.

That Craft Bukkit page isn't loading for me anymore. And I tried it in two browsers.
Just in the off chance that I can't use it, what are my other options?

Did you run a 1.4.7 server stabley enough? I'm not sure if I need to ask that, actually. I did just run the server and there's no reason I can see that a proper setup wouldn't run 1.4.7 multiplayer well enough.
Well yeah, thanks.

I can't remember when command blocks were implemented but if they were already, you should not run into any problems.

https://s3.amazonaws...erver.1.4.7.exe
I took the download link for 1.7.9 and changed it to 1.4.7.
Edit: I verified it worked. Im amazed such a simple change of the URL actually worked out XD
Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.
