So Me and my cousin is playing (trying) minecraft lan so when i click open to lan it is always a random port like hosted on port :6593 or :2785 those werent those i got but they different and yes we are on the same network
Notes: My port and my cousin port is different (also does this on athor networks and with freinds)
It Dosent work for me and my freinds either and it dosent matter what network i am on or him or they are on
yes we have tryed localhost and the ip we do when we go on my server
and we are on the same version and no we are not playing servers cuz we want to play crazycraft
and we also tryed that he shold open lan and i join but it didnt show up at "multiplayer" both ways
If it doesn't show up at the multiplayer tab then you aren't connected (i.e. on the same network). You should try google, there are plenty of tutorials available on how to set it up.
The easiest way would probably be to simply draw a cable between the two computers.
First of all make sure you are connected to the same network. Then if you have a program like Hamachi or tunngle try disabling its driver or completely uninstalling the program. If everything fails just see a tutorial on Google. But, most likely the problem will be from Hamachi or Tunngle or any other program like that.

Hopefully that will help
