I tried searching every port forward website including port-forward.com. Doesnt seem to cover ARRIS DG860 router. Can anyone help me to forward my server. Perhaps make a youtube video or somehting? Thanks
I have the same router and the same problem. i know how to port forward but it doesnt seems to work. if you go into firewall theres a virtual server and thats how you port forward but im thinking its not working

I have the same thing, and I looked it up and it is under virtual devices.... its just not working for some reason... I don't know if this is true, but i believe its the "local port" problem, I have never seen it before while forwarding a port
Also.... I was reading somewhere that it might only be possible to forward a port if you hold down the restart button on the router for 15 seconds and then quickly log in... I don't know if that is true but i'm going to try it if I cant figure anything else out
Its a little confusing, but for some reason it made it work, I don't know how it happened. But from now on I'm using this thing to help me port forward
Bump. Ok i know how to do the firewall thing and stuff. I am able to join the 192.168 server thing but when i try to join my external, it just doesnt work. PLEASE HELP ASAP. THanks in advance

I just received and installed this router for myself today. This is what I had to do to get my Minecraft server working on this router.
1. Add your Minecraft server to the Fixed DHCP Clients list. (LAN Setup > DHCP)
2. Add a Virtual Server for the Fixed local IP Address with port range 25564 to 25566. (Firewall > Virtual Server)
3. Disconnect and Reconnect the server to the router to refresh the IP Address given.
4. To access the server on computers using the same router as the server, use the local IP Address (like: 192.168.0.3)
To access the server on computers outside the network, use the assigned DHCP IP Address (found on WAN Setup page)
I am still having problems with this, if anyone could help. After adding the Virtual server I am able to connect to the server in minecraft using the LAN ip of my desktop, which is the MC (bukkt) server, 192.168.0.3, but I can't access it via the WAN ip. Can anyone help?
I have been dealing with this for easily 7 hours today, but couldn't do things that would potentially reset the router due to a massive upload in progress. That upload finished and I tried a few things, eventually getting port forwarding to work.
First thing is first... It seemed obvious to me that I should have the router's firewall off cause... duh, right? Well, apparently it also disables the router's port forwarding capabilities. So, try turning that on if it is off; cause again, why wouldn't it be?.
However, before I figured that out, I also grabbed miniupnpc (a quick google search will get it for ya). Installed it and used the -a (do not add the -e, arris doesn't support it) and forced a upnp port forward as well as having it in the virtual server section.
Finally, give DMZ a shot again once the other two items are in place.
Either one of, or a combination of, these things got me able to get a local FTP server hosted on a Win2008r2 system visible on the internet.

Add new server or something like that?
