i need a lot of help in this one.
i made a bukkit server port forwarded it and joined it. it worked. i tell my freinds to get in it they said they cant. i go into my other computer and join it and it says "java.net.ConnectExeption: Connection timed out: no further information:/ 10.0.0.3:25565" i srsly dont know whats going on i set up the ip in my ethernet i also put in subney mask just fine and the default gate it good too. i got all the info in my cmd typing in ipconfig. i really dont know whts going on.
Hi MCFUser3197758, You may have whitelisted the server, otherwise if you didn't pay/did it on LAN you need people in your household with the same internet on to play it or you may have an connection error, sorry this may not have helped

nah i port forwarded this server and it keeps on timing out, but i fixed it refusing to distribute info. still no one but me can get in the server. white list is also off i really dont know whts going on
Personally, i wouldn't post my ip adress openly like that, since it can cause alot of hassle (tracking , DDoS and whatnot). Anyways which OS are you running? Windows? If yes, it might be the firewall blocking it perhaps. Also, are you sure you put your port on both TCP and UDP ? On a last note, keep in mind bukkit got DMCA'ed for using some of wolf's codes , i am unsure if it happened so far to any server, but he could DMCA servers using craftbukkit i think. (feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, not a lawyer here so.)

Irrelevant.
I noticed on your copy-paste that they were urls.
So, I would assume that that's your router/modem, and it's IP is 10.0.0.3, which is your Local Network.
If this is correct, you've changed your computer to a static IP that is not in the same range as that on your network, I have no idea how it's still working but ehh.

You need to be giving your friends your public IP address, which is -> https://www.google.com/search?q=what is my ip
You can use this tool to check if your ports are open.
