I had an old router that I successfully forwarded the ports on, and hosted a server. Now I have a Cisco Linksys-E2500. This model isn't listed on portforward.com, so I had to follow instructions for a different model. I made my IP static. I logged in to my router's page at "192.168.1.1." I put in my password, and went to applications and gaming, tried both single port forwarding and port range forwarding. I filled in my information as shown in the pictures below.
I even went to this site, and it said my port was open (and I know it works becuase I tested other ports that wouldn't be open, and it said they were closed). http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/
Yet, people still can't log on to my server. Did I miss something? Help! o.o
well, I don't think this was the problem, but the guy testing for me did have a shaky connection. If anyone could try to connect to my server to test it, it would be appreciated.
