Whenever I Change and start the server it changes it back to 32

I want it to be 200 atleast
How do I Change this

Are you tallking about the max player count? If so then you just goto the server properties and change the #.

it just keeps changing back to 32 when ever i start the server
Even when I Change max-players

Wierd do you restart your server and may I ask is this run off your home comp or is this a dedicated server?

Home comp so it doesnt have 24/7 up time
and yes I restart the server but i turn it off before i change the settings

I have a vps so the way i change my max player count may not be the same but i just change it in server properties and save the file if its not working for you idk why...

Btw how are you going to host 200 players on a home computer server?

If you could tell me your mbps and the amount of ram I could help determine how many players you could host with minimal lag

You can't run a 200 player server with 1GB of ram.. and your home connection is not 100mbps.

Go to speedtest.net and post your results from there..

What server mods/addons are you using? Are you using some type of wrapper?

Wow thats a high upload speed you must be paying a lot to get that from your home....... anyways with only 1gb of ram available it limits your server capacity to around 1-10 players depending on how far their away from your home. Also, depening on if your gonna give all your computers cpu power to optimize java and to run the server you might have better performance. However if you have other programs open in the background this might cause some types of lag.

Well that doesn't help.. when I asked you to post the results I expected you to post all of the results. What was the result for your upload? Your download is irrelevant when running a server..

There's no way in heck you can even run a 5 person server with internet that slow.. sorry bud.

I.. ugh..

Get you and your mates to club together say 5-10 dollars each and speak to one of the plenty of MC host providers here on the forum, you're going to be a lot happier if you just pay someone to host for you. I'm sure one or two if asked nicely would do the config for you, espeically if you dont want any mods or anything.

If theres 5 of you, and each can raise 10 dollars you've got a good few months of hosting right there.
