No-one else can connect to my server. I don't know why, I opened port 25565 on windows firewall, but I used a portchecking website and it says it's still closed. Also when I start the server it says "not enough ram, to launch server with more ram, launch it as "java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar" "how do I do that?
One more thing, I have no admin.txt file, just an op.txt file, do I need a admin file?
So yeah.. I think this is the right subforum to post my questions in.

You can create an "admins.txt" file and add your username to it.
Also, you say you've opened the port in Windows Firewall, have you also opened the port through your router?
If not, look up your router on the manufacturers website and through their support/knowledgebase there should be answers on how to properly forward the port within your router. If the port isn't forwarded at the router, no connections will make it through to your computer.
If you don't have a router, it's possible your modem has a firewall that may be blocking that port, you'll have to do the same with the modem and the manufacturers website is the best place for information specific to that model.
Thank you, I'll try that, if it works that's already 2 of my questions answered :smile.gif: What is the reason for an admin.txt file? I just asked about it because I was told to add my username to the op and admin files.
