however for whatever reason some problems I've encountered so far are:
1. Mobs take FOREVER to kill (w/ a diamond sword).
2. Archers aren't shooting... at all.
3. Creeper's explosions seem to hurt you when they feel like it, but still destroy land. Like a boss.
4. No sound at all from damage, cactus, fall or monster inflicted. Which means you can't hear the Creeper's SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
5. When I hit respawn it doesn't take me back to the designated spawn area. Instead, I'm left hovering in.. nothing- Forcing me to type /spawn.
6. You can plant blocks around yourself. It seems like a buggy noclip.. from a bug. Yes, you'll die from planting them on yourself.
Maybe I'm missing something, and I know someone will point it out if I did, but the server fails to startup with this file installed. All I get is this:
"PM net.minecraft.server.minecraftserver g
INFO: stopping server
Press any key to continue . . ."
I see it works for other people fine so my first assumption is my own error. How did I screw up moving a single file?
When I logged into my server, like usual my guy falls from the sky and since there is falling damage, I died.
Another thing was pressure plates weren't working, I don't know about redstone but I have a plate in front of a iron door that was working and now it's not.
I find it so funny that Notch is rolling in millions on an ALPHA game that is supported so ENORMOUSLY by the work of hey0 (I wouldnt be hosting a server without hey0) ... and hey0 cant pay his internet bill.

Try to put the mod.jar in anoter folder and open it, them just copy the archives like: homes, users, warps, kits... just the .txt files, them copy the server_nogui.bat and (optional) the world folder
For me works
Sorry about the bad english, is not my native lenguage
1. No Zombies at all have spawned
2. Archers aren't shooting... at all

Not good :sad.gif:

Lua. Good work, you compiled a test build off the official github. It's not ready for release. It is not a release. We're all working hard to iron out the bugs, whether testing and reporting, or actually fixing the code in question.
Do not claim you are posting an official release. You are not. You're posting a buggy test build.
I finally got it to work. I had to move all the files out of the folder. Then I placed ONLY the minecraft_mod.jar file and ran it. Closed the server, erased "world." Then moved all the .txt files over, as well as the "world" folder, "plugin" folder, and the server_nogui.bat. I'm finally able to play on both of my servers after doing these steps in that order; nothing else would work for me.
I'm running it on a desktop with Win XP 32bit, with two minecraft severs and a ventrillo server at the same time. No server errors or problems yet. Cuboid, flyRidgeFly, and CraftBook are working as they had before: perfectly. Thanks to everyone who posted their attempts, it made my job easier knowing it wasn't a problem with the computer itself. I don't get along well with computers when minecraft updates come out...
I'll be waiting for Hey0 to update..im not downloading anything that isnt Hey0s and get a backdoor put in on my server
You can trust Grum. He wrote a lot of the code that updated 124 to 125. What he links are compiles directly from the currently-being-worked-on version, from #hey0

To clear up what they said above me in non-technical terms, Grumm works on hMod along with Hey0. Hey0 no longer develops it completely by himself, he has a few helpers. You can trust whatever Grumm posts just as much as what Hey0 posts.

THERE IS NO OFFICIAL HMOD RELEASE YET
Any file anybody has put up so far is UNOFFICIAL, and is likely a copy of the code currently being worked on.
AGAIN, THERE IS NO OFFICIAL RELEASE. There are still bugs to iron out.
Also, whoever decided they wanted to make a "public source alternative" to hmod. hmod IS open source. Way to pay attention.
Minecraft, Team Fortress 2, CounterStrike: Source, Garry's Mod, etc
Build server: mc2.joe.to
PvE server: mc3.joe.to
Survival server: mc4.joe.to
WorldProtect (works, but with errors)
