That would work for admins but not regular players. When an admin does /command it outputs to the server window, when a regular player does /command its just ignored and the player receives the "You are not an admin" message.
Next release will have remote control via a simple web interface and be cross-platform compatible using Mono (most Linux distros I've seen come with Mono prepackaged).

One question as this is the feature I'm most excited about:
Is it possible to have multiple timed messages with this build? Perhaps have it cycle through your list randomly.
Not in the current release. I was thinking of the best way to handle this. Should you define a bunch of different messages and they just play randomly or cycle through them sequentially?
I'll put it in the next build.

Hm, I'm having issues. When I run my server normally everything works fine.
But when I run it with your application, it seems to run alright. Except my server doesn't show up on the server list.
Is the Java server actually running, does the console window display output from the server?

Does it work with multiple servers?
Sure, there is nothing stopping you from running multiple instances of this at once. Just make sure that the remoting ports are different (if enabled) and that they are in different folders or else the backups would cross-contaminate.

From then on there are no more updates, when I try to connect using my old external URL it just generates a level (i.e. incorrect URL) and if I use the old IP & port URL then it blackscreens in minecraft and it freezes my browser. If I try and close the serverop window, then it acts as though it is not responding (have to 'end task')
I'm having the exact same issue as the last two posters - using your stock config.
The level is saving as normal - every few minutes - but there's no message about the external URL, and connecting via it doesn't work.
I'm guessing it's the version of the .NET Framework we have installed, since another application I use stopped working when I installed v3.5.
Why would you need it when you have OP capability? Rcon solved the whole no accounts problem, but there are accounts on Minecraft, rendering Rcon useless.

Alright guys, I'm working hard at this. Unfortunately I cannot replicate this on any of my five machines. I'm a little stumped as too how my server app is causing the MC server to fail at establishing connections.
I'm not sure if its .Net. I have 3.5 installed too and it targets 2.0 regardless. The only thing I can think of that may be different is the XP installation. My XP only has SP2, which service pack do you guys have? Anyone running into this problem on a non-Windows box?

Any way to turn off those annoying welcome messages?
Ya sorry. They were never supposed to be in there in the first place. They will be gone next release.

It's mostly broken for me. I started it with a new map - which it autogenerated properly, and started correctly - but neither can people see the server (or access via the external link, including me) nor can I type in the console.
Yes im having the very same problem i would really like this to work cause i dont have many admins and i would like my server to be safe from griefers while i sleep
