Setting up a server isn't as hard as you may think. There are a lot of methods Minecrafters use to run their servers, including PAID for hosts, and the free alternative Hamachi. If you're looking for a simple setup which will allow you and your family to play together, a paid-for experience will not be necessary. If you have a hardy computer, it should do just fine running both a server and the Minecraft client at the same time. There are many helpful (and insightful) tutorials on YouTube, and they're all free. Those who have adSense enabled with all benefit from your views. So really, you're paying them without paying anything
I see your in the USA, and that server is .UK how is the ping. I suppose its not an issue really, Not like it would be with something like iRacing lol.
I will give them all a good look at and see which one my Neanderthal brain can understand.
I live in Manlyvale NSW and my son lives with my wife in Hornsby NSW.
I will be wanting to set up Steam as well so we can chat at the same time. Or what ever may be recommended.
The set up will not be needed for about 1 month. This gives the prospective Teacher time to prepare and ask relevant questions.
Its not necessarily first come first serve. It's the level of service I am looking for.
PM me for application.
Bryce.
