Can't connect to Minecraft.net since 2 weeks now ...

  • #1
    Hello,

Since two weeks now i cannot play Minecraft; the laucher keep saying that it can't connect to Minecraft.net.

i read others topic about the same issue but it seems that the probleme is solved for many of them.

But i'm still unable to connect and play and it's been 2 weeks now. Kinda long for a game i bought and love since beta 1.3.

I need some help or at least an explenation.

On this site it says that minecraft.net is down

    http://www.minecraftdown.com/

But it's the only one, many others (official include) say that's minecraft.net is up and running.

My firewall is fine and i never had an issue with this game for so long.

Please answer, i sent an email to the support team and still got no answer at all.

Thank you for all and sorry for my english

    Bye

No answer ? No comment ? I think i overrated this community.

What's wrong with my post ? Why nobody answer me ? Even the support team leave me in the dark.

Try downloading and running this. It gathers some information that helps find out what the error could be.

The issue is that Java cannot connect to the Internet.

If you have any antivirus programs, try temporarily turning them off. Try turning Windows Firewall off.

    Already done that.

Beside, i just had a java update and got no notification from my firewall.
  • #7
If you read the log, something is indeed interfering with Java's connection to the Internet.

    login.minecraft.net resolvable? NO
    session.minecraft.net resolvable? NO
Make sure your internet connection is working,
and no firewall or virus scanner is interfering with the connection.
    www.google.com resolvable? NO

If it's not a Firewall or Antivirus program, I'm not sure what it is.

Yeah i saw that so i deleted all the rules about java inside my firewall. Still no change my firewall doesn't seems to be the cause.

With a friend we try to change DNS, but it didn't work at all.

I've delleted all java files from my pc and try to reinstall it but nothing change.

I'm quite lost now, don't know were to look.

One administrator from the spout forum help me. You have to exclude javaw.exe from ESET filtering. Problem fixed.
