I try to join a Pixelmon server but I always get this error:

I've tried re-downloading the mod over and over again and have tried different servers but I always get the same message. The mod also works perfectly in Singleplayer. Help?
From what I've been able to figure out is if you start a new world, it works just fine. It has conflicts with existing save files, and all it does is enable friendly vanilla mobs. I don't know about hostal ones, but older versions have had instances with these anyway so that might still exist regarless of an error. But on Peaceful not much to worry about. It kind of kills the Pixelmon spirit to attack a Mareep and then find out it's just a sheep. The suggested fixes haven't worked for me either. This is just what I've been able to gather, I don't know if any other functions are corrupted because of this.
So I played on an existing save, and I'm not sure if it happens in all biomes or with all legendaries, but it spawned in about 20-25 Rayquazas. Spammed the chat and the sky. Also there's a plethora of Fearows.
