I'm having an issue that only seems to happen after a certain amount of mods have been installed. The game loads in just fine but my mouse cursor wont disappear when playing and all items have no texture but all blocks do.

Also having the exact same issue, although Modular Power Suits is not the issue as I have tried with and without it, as well as trying the config change. If anyone has figured it out it'd be awesome if you could share how.
I was having the error with Tinkers Construct.. I removed it and it seemed fine, then after about an hour of play the game crashed, and when I loaded it back up I was getting the error once more, this time without tinkers construct.
The problem does seem to be optifine. I got it after updating to the newest Forge (220.127.116.118). Changing FPS smoothing from multicore didn't help. I just removed optifine and the problem went away.
The OpenGL version is based on your graphics card. As far as I know you can't just update it.
It is really a problem with optifine. It seems to conflict with Universal Electricity. There is a statement that supposes an incompatibility with optifine, although, it is only stated that it occurs with MP.
Taking into account, that it always (I tested and had same result) states that 1281 is an invalid value and @Lance5057 said that if he removes a mod the error is gone, no matter which one, and I saw like any random textures at any random style, I would say that It can't handle more than 1280 Textures at a time. Because this occurs on any random Item it has probably got to do with the texture loading process. SO I get it when I open my inventory with tons of textures displayed in NEI and in the inventory itself it will go on loading them until 1280 is reached and then they start disappearing or being displayed incorrectly.
BTW: Anyone ever had the error that parts of the player Skin was displayed as texture?
I seem to only get this error when I use Misa's texture pack. Which is a shame because it is such a nice pack.
Has a solution been found yet?
I'm seeing this error as well. I don't see any apparent negative effect beyond the log spam, but whenever I have the main menu open and MC is paused, it spams that error something like 10 times a second. If I have another GUI open and look at the console, all's well.
I don't have Optifine installed, nor am I running any texture packs. I tried removing large mods like Twilight Forest, but even with a fair bit of my mod list pruned back, it didn't fix the problem.
Same issues for me, I dont use only optifine of the above mentioned mods and deffo not removing it
two points tho: logging could be improved to collate duplicate lines, if the previous logged line is the same as the one you're going to write, just add x2 or x3 after it until you get a new line, this could dramatically reduce logfile size. requires not using autoflushed logfile though.
