I've got a sparkly clean, brand new Minecraft jar v 1.3.2, and when I launch the game using Magic Launcher v 0.9.9 everything is peachy. When I hit the "setup" button in Magic Launcher, however, I get an error message with a long string of java errors. This is on a fresh jar with no mods installed, mind you.
I can click cancel to get rid of the message and it takes me right to the screen where I can queue up my mods. No problems there until. . .
It doesn't matter if I install ModLoader manually or just add it to Magic Launcher's queue of mods to use, either way Minecraft fails to launch with the following message:
Minecraft has crashed!
----------------------
Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem; ModLoader has failed to initialize.

I get the same thing if I install ModLoader manually AND ignore Magic Launcher and just launch the game with the native exe.
I figure this has to do something with that long string of Java errors I get when I hit Magic Launcher's Setup button, but I'll be darned if I can figure out what.
Any help is greatly appreciated, and before the questions are asked I'll just go ahead and say YES, I'm deleting Meta-Inf, and YES, I'm putting ModLoader into Magic Launcher as an internal mod and first in line before optifine.

Oh well, try, try again, as they say.
Think I'll uninstall and start fresh with Java, Minecraft, and all the mods and see what that does.
