There getting crashes because of the mods they installed, don't see how it's minecrafts fault there or androids... Just saying, btw I'm on iPad too
Pocket tool does crash my Minecraft also, it corrupts the apk, and does not let me install that apk. I can install it without any mods from the market. I hope snowbound will look into this, I also said it in his topic with a better description.

your annoying... btw ios is having the same problem... with ImcEdit...sooo yea.
as another person said...
btw for anyone with this problem i solved it for me on android just
do the following... and i do not take responsibility for and issues...
go to your minecraft app and extract it. after extracting it copy the files in the extracted file and go to
Sdcard/Android/data/com.snowbound.pockettool.free/temp
now delete the files in there and paste what you copied.
go to a backup or the app Minecraft PE found usually in your backups folder if you backed it up
copy it and the go to
Sdcard/Android/data/com.snowbound.pockettool.free
now delete the three Minecrafts that are in .apk form and paste your backed up Minecraft.
now rename that to minecraft.apk
make sure its lower case.
okay now go to the undo file from there and delete any patches in that file.
now back out of their run PocketTool and do the usual and it worked for me so i hope it works for you...

It's been doing it to me, too. I updated MCPE, and tried to run Pockettool to put in the texture pack I've been using, and Pockettool kept popping up with "Unfortunately, Pockettool has stopped" when I went into the toolkit and selected 'change textures'. I've uninstalled both Pockettool and Pockettool Free -- and the paid version appears to have vanished off of Google Play -- but when I attempt to reinstall MCPE, I get "unknown error during application install '-24'" and it won't install. Doing a full shutdown and restart clears that up and allows me to install MCPE, but PT fails to install the change -- the uninstall of the existing MCPE works just fine, but when it attempts to install the patched version, it aborts with "App not installed" and leaves enough garbage laying around electronically that MCPE won't reinstall without a shutdown and restart.

I got that same problem too. Right now theres only Pockettool and no Pockettool free in the google play store. The paid Pockettool is now free and the free one vanished. So when I install any mods, I get the same errors. When I tried to reinstall MCPE, I get install error -24. Dunno whats going on with Pockettool nowadays.
When I get a skin or texture pack installed with pocket tool it goes through the uninstall/ reinstall just fine. When I try to start a world I get "request not authorized". Then I have to uninstall ultimate tool kit, pockettool, and inveditor before minecraft will reinstall.
