I want to play Minecraft Windows 10 Edition on my Windows 10 PC and play with my daughter on her Kindle Fire on our LAN. I actually was able to join her game one time, the first time I tried a few days ago, but when we tried to play together today, we always get "Unable to connect to World."
I've tried every combination of Server Settings I can think of, and tried creating the server on both the PC and Kindle, but we can never see each other's game.
I have Xbox accounts for both of us and we are friends, so we can see the others server and can click it to join the server, but it still fails.
Any suggestions would make a 6-year old very happy.
Hmm... I didn't have to do anything extra; I just fired up MCW10 on my PC and my game on my iPad showed up under LAN on the Friends tab when I hit play at the main menu on my PC. Is LAN how you're trying to join, or are you trying some other means?
